Not trying to be a smart ass but I really don't see a point to people buying a chromecast if your phone & tv is linked to same WiFi connection, you can just press the cast symbol from your phone so that you can watch it on your tv... everything you said, I already do without a chromecast.
Can someone explain why the hell I would buy this if I can just do this just by being connected to my home wifi

Have any of you had any issues casting Crackle TV I have an iPhone 8 Plus and for almost a month I have not been able to cast to my TV. The casting icon has disappeared. I also just found out that I can’t cast Crunchyroll and Funimation to my TV either. All of my paid subscriptions work just fine as well as Tubi, Vudu, and Popcornflix. I emailed Crackle, but they weren’t very responsive.

Bought Chromecast 2 days ago. I wanted to use it to watch 123 movies .com( a free online site offering the latest movies) from my tablet to my tv.. WRONG!!!! Didnt work. I thought this thing would mirrow anything i was surfing or pags i was on , on my tablet. NOPE!!! Took it back.

The biggest issue with Chromecast is that it doesn't work with VPN. I mean it makes sense because of IP address change, but it's still frustrating. Good old hdmi cable laptop will never get old :)

You should do an Update Video of this because The New Streaming Service Peacock is also Free, But I'm Not sure if Peacock is available on Chromecast or Not though

I have an old phone that I use just for apps that I stream to my projector. The speakers barely work on this phone but still cast to other devices just fine.
