YouTube TV vs Hulu Live Which Is Better HULU: Speaking of DVR, yesterday I ordered the full Hulu experience (no ads, hulu live tv, disney, espn, etc). Ive used DVR for nearly twenty years and before that VCR, so Im quite experienced. So, I set three shows to record. Just Go With It, PGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions. As Just Go With It was streaming I checked on it, and the indicator showed Recording, and because I saw Recording I took for granted that all THREE shows would record. I got up this morning, and Just Go With It was NOT recorded, and the two golf programs did. I started playback on the golf programs and both programs stopped and were stuck in the first few seconds. I started a chat with Hulu and this is what she said We do apologize but for the playback I can confirm that this is something our team knows about, and is planning to address. I don’t have a specific date to share with you as for when this will be resolved. But rest assured that our Team is doing its best to fix the issue as soon as possible.
They have a DVR that failed to playback two of two shows, and failed to record one of three shows, and they sell this as a feature This is a consumer goods company They know about it and they cant tell me when theyll fix it They already took my money Their response They said Well credit you 1 week on your next billing cycle. Next billing cycle Im one day in, and its the worst experience imaginable, and they are so thick, they expect ME to stick around for a second month\r\n

I certainly see why news corporations need multiple 'opponents' going against each other, but if you truly want to make to make sense of the direction premium subscription media is heading, start with the fact that there will be a few winners in the war.
Today, on average there are 3 subscriptions per streaming household. We are going to see a bunch of new players like HBO Max, Peacock, Quibi and even a service by Discovery and BBC. We are going to have multiple major streaming services, all specialising in a certain type of content, while also offering substantial evergreen, mainstream movies and shows.

You may wish to update this informative comparison. As others have said, Hulu just raised their Live price to $60, and their no commercials upgrade is deceiving. There is plenty of DVR content that you still have to suffer through LONG commercial breaks (2-3 minutes, 4-5 times in one show). They have problems with freezing and lag (no, it's not our internet connection). Ugh. Not worth the $. Gonna try YT.

Great video! The magic is Hulu with the no commercials option; which allows me to watch all my network shows commercial free. With that, the DVR really isn't an issue. I hardly ever use it because of this. Then add on the Hulu Live TV option and you have the best of all worlds. And THEN with the new HULU/ESPN/DISNEY bundle and that is the magic sauce right there!

They both suck. Their own by 2 conglomerate companies. That want your money and make u feel you're watching whatever you want TV. But ,NO! Only what they want you to watch their true live TV feelings. It's called CONTROL! Remember, internet people. We The People have the power remember that.

When are going to start placing the blame for high prices on the networks - where it belongs. all the carriers are fine products. They actually are not that far apart... its the networks driving prices... when as consumers are we going to stop letting them rape us for mindless TV.

I'm moving in a few days and the cable company won't install new outlets because of the shutdown. I'm forced to use Centurylink for internet and need a live TV alternative. I'm still more confused than ever.

paying for no adds with HULU which does not improve things much. the worst part is not being able to Fast Foward. I will switch just to FF thru commercials.

Bad thing is that Disney is looking to buy out HULU, it’s in the works and when they do look out on your great deals, just another liberal crap company

This video really doesn't tell you anything regarding which service is better. It's just click bait as far as I'm concerned.
