Couple Things I wanted to add that I briefly touched on:
1. I understand Brave is chromium based, but it has the google reporting ripped out. This is because I've been a google chrome user for 10+ years and many of the extensions are not available on Firefox.
2. Brave uses the BAT cryptocurrency for payouts. This is a complex procedure and many people will have problems with it. I would have elaborated on this, but this was already a 20min+ video. Basically, you required to get an uphold exchange account (requires photo verification) and then wait for payout thresholds to be hit before it goes to your uphold wallet. This will take -months- in most instances. Once in the exchange account, it can be converted to FIAT and then transferred into -real money-. This is a big turn off for some and why I mentioned Vivaldi as an alternative. Also, you can disable all Ads and the wallet -Brave Rewards- itself if you don't like this feature.

To the folks in the comments, I am/was a Firefox guy. Actually I still really love it. Especially the dev tools. Nothing wrong with Firefox that I know of but pay attention to Mozilla. I've heard some creepy rumours about them since they've grown. Not throwing shade, I develop on Firefox just...pay attention. Also, I went to Brave for personal life a little over a year ago and if it wasn't for 2 things
it would be my only browser. As it is it's my default. The issues: 1. Dev Tools on Firefox Developer Edition 2. School requests/requires Chrome, but only about 3 more weeks of that and Chrome is OUTTA HERE! ---Cheers

I use Brave
And from what I can tell it is the best browser I have ever used
It is fast, keeps privacy as their number 1 policy and is just sooo easy to use
I have used Vivaldi, Edge, Firefox. Opera and all those browsers, but I always found myself coming back to Brave
The best way to describe brave browser is a faster, ad free, minimal, privacy focused, and lighter version of Chrome
Unless you are a customization freak, the average user would be more than happy to use Brave.

What's wrong with Chrome? It's better than Microsoft's IE or whatever that browser is that is in Windows 10.
Brave is annoying when you enable the ADs option, I don't want to have Ads popping up all the time that's what hate in Youtube, the Ads.
I tried Brave in Linux and it caused my system to slow down, I do like the no Ads in Youtube but it makes no sense to remove Ads in one place like Youtube but get them even more annoyingly frequently in the web browser it's self.

Used Firefox for years until Firefox did their major change a few years back (V58??) and then it wasn't Firefox anymore. Now Firefox is just as woke with their policies as google and nope! Not to mention it's still not -Firefox.- At the present I'm trying to ween myself off of chrome.

Using both Brave and Firefox since the last couple of months, and both have been great. My main issue with Brave irrespective of OS is that I can't log into YouTube, and since I have hardware limitations I can't just run both at the same time, but Firefox is still there.

Brave sync is pretty similar to chrome sync imo. After the first setup if you are trying to use a fresh install of Brave, all you have to do is import the string of words and everything would be synced (extensions, bookmarks, settings etc)
