Hi Chris, i remember you have created a video on how to setting wineprefix 1 or 2 year ago. But, i hope you can make updated one, especially in terms of what to install DLLs windows components, i sure a lot of newbie including me, are confused what to install and what's the best to make your windows apps works best.
Also, with the update of proton, mesa-driver, custom xanmod kernel etc, i believe those will help tremendously on how winapps gonna works. But on how to and which one to use can be confusing, so i hope you gonna make updated video on this. Thanks Chris !

Interesting, I had a similar idea in my mind, especially having a chromebook and connect.. Already found a pretty perfect model for my needs, but HOW are you handling the meta key issue? the chromebooks are lacking mod4 (win key) all my keybindings in my window managers are relying on that I would also love to connect to my BSD box :/ ..btw what is the mem consumption after fresh reboot on your m1?

this is not a fun boi take, but there is only ONE OS, Linux, cuz Windows is a spyware virus, and Mac is a spyware virus, with really really bad hardware, keyboards battery etc just break, and on they ipone they make the screen with a rubber border, so they break easy and you need to buy a new one.
the world only got ONE OS, and that is sad because sometimes linux s-ck too

After watching this video, I-m trying to access my mac(the host) via parsec on a linux(the client). The connection is very good and I am really impressed with parsec! One issue I-m having right now is that I can-t get parsec to emulate the command key which is such a big part of using the mac. You know, command-n for new file and such. Do you have any tips on this issue?

Thanks, great video, but it also can be done with ONE computer, that is what most people have.
There are not enough tutorials on how to use KVM/QEMU with pass-through single GPU. And it is tricky.
I would love to watch you do it with Mac OS - Hackintosh and MS WOS 10 and 11 and be able to copy and paste from a written step by step how to.

Also yes, having the gaming rig being its dedicated Windows machine to remote into while the rest can be done on a small Linux/Windows box is really great. Not just for power consumption but also flexibility.
Again, as you said one can use any client that supports Moonlight. I played Halo Infinite on my Nintendo Switch which is sick.

It's definitely better than my triple Boot. I've installed Windows, set up macOS with OpenCore and installed elementaryOS, from which elementaryOS is mostly what I'm using as my main machine for main machine, Windows for gaming and macOS for... Apple stuff.
I'm just not a rich person. I can afford one PC or laptop, and that's all.

Yeah, was experimenting with that stuff back in 2005ish as a college student. Hated using windows for anything else besides gaming. Problem back then was -wake to lan- wasn't as polished as it is today and computers were extremely power inefficient. The electricity bill forced me to end the experiment.
