Hi there, using the chkdsk command, I tried to fix my external HDD but it didn't work. Initially, It seemed working by displaying the file system type (NTFS), however, the chkdsk process was ultimately aborted and a message pops out saying -the first NTFS boot sector is corrupt or unreadable-. It then seems trying to read the second sector (displayed such a message) but again, it states that it's unable to determine its volume and state. Ultimately, I couldn't access my data. Any help ???

I-m extremely disappointed. I took the comments on this page, the majority of them being positive, and set out to purchase and try and recover a 4TB external hard drive. Over 100 GB were indeed identified, however, not a single file could be brought back to life. Most of them work said to be corrupted and I am completely distraught. Am I eligible for a refund of the $104.00 if my situation didn-t work whatsoever?

I-m trying to recover 756 gb of data from my Western Digital drive. I know it-s going to take a lot of time to scan, but once the process is done I won-t be able to save it to my computer, because I don-t have enough space! Will it still be possible just to save on the external drive that needs to be recovered?

This video sucks, why do you give us a piece of garbage as a software that tells us to pay, but then proceed to not tell us that? Total clickbait made just to make you install some crap that'll collect your files and your private data

I scanned my hard drive (It's not showing up on my system) and Recoverit found no files? Does that mean I have no chance at recovering? Have some important work files on it that I desperately need.

Hey there. It-s taking a really long time to use the program to scan the drive. It can see the drive which is awesome and it-s about a 4 TB drive. It-s been stuck at 10% for hours is this normal?
