Thanks for wasting my time Recoverit I went to download your program and use it. I was really hoping this would have worked and turns out it did work and I was excited. I was like -yes! thank goodness this thing actually worked! now I can save the video and be able to upload it-...what you FAILED was to tell everyone that you need to Purchase the product to even save your corrupted files. I went back into the video to double check to see if purchasing the product was needed for something that markets Free use...NOPE no where in the video explains that you need to buy the product to use the function. It would have been nice to know that before downloading this thing! I even tested it on smaller 1 min video and you still need to Buy the product. WHAT. IS. THE. POINT?! at least give people a 24 hour trial before shoving this page of -buy our service!-
All I wanted to do was save a corrupted video file- again thanks for consuming my time.

didn't work for me. used advanced added sample file and it -fixed- fast and file still dead. The camera when it actually died of bat said attempting to recover and a fail message saying corruptions so I think its broke... all i have when I test the file is loud static and fuzzy images

In case anyone is wondering, it will cost you $80 if you want to actually recover anything. The VLC methods he lists just flat out doesn't actually work, ever, for anyone. And you can scan for the files with their software, but you can't do anything with them without paying.

All methods still haven't worked is there anything else to recover the clips? When I open my memory card there is two clips out of the 24 that still work then the others have the QuickTime logo. Ive tried so many options including everything you just explained. Thanks

it didn't supported for me, i need to repair the following file format mp4.tmp0 its from a cell phone camera, the files usually get named with a date and that's it, but i got one that didn't saved correctly and after the date there's mp4.tmp0. size 589MB

Thx... for the lively vid. I was unable to recover my MP4 file after trying all the suggestions. My problem file is the only one on the SD card that has NO xml file. Is there a way to generate an xml file or recover the file in any other way?

didn't work for me... tried many software... the video recording was terminated by pulling out the SD. all softwares i tried managed to recover teh sound. but the video was still corrupted.... anyone know how to fix it ?

great vid, informative. my issue was i just need to convert/save my video file, but i was using a different video player, VLC worked perfect however.
saved me from spending another 3 hours re-recording footage.

Got many vids moved on my brand new kingston USB 64GBs , 90% of them got corrupted when moving from phone , tried all possible ways and ur way uphere but Nothing worked

It doesn't work for me whatsovever, even with advanced repair software. It keeps asking me to change the sample video, but no matter how many times I changed, it still didn't work
