Can you please do a video for multi step approvals for a Leave Request. We have multiple leaders and leave requires 2 managers to approve. I want to build it in SP with a Calendar that will update with the leave approved on the calendar. Right now we have to put the leave in the calendar, send an email wait for our 1st manager to approve then go back into SP and change it from pending to approved before the manager will go into our leave system to approve the leave. I want to make it so that the 2nd manager will get an email or a Teams alert saying it is approved.

Kevin - Have you heard anything about updates on this app? Microsoft said they were going to release the next rev. in april or so which allowed for custom approval templates and expanded functionality like adobe sign. I've seen they have implemented adobe sign but not the custom templates they show on their demo video. Thanks.

Kevin, thanks for the vid. I'm setting up a check request approval flow in Teams and in a perfect world, the approver put's their initials on the attached pdf (check Request). Any suggestions on how to do this? In approvals on the left, there is a column that lists -Approvals, Adobe Sign, DocuSign-. Can I leverage those somehow?

Thanks! Could you compare/contrast the features of FORMS and APPROVALS apps so we might better know which to select for any given process? Specifically, as we move to asynchronous decision-making in our teams/committees, which app is best for collecting votes from committee members? Has APPROVALS rendered FORMS irrelevant?

Hi, can you have a simple flow setup eg: Create an approval request (using template) and submit for approval, it gets approved, and then an email is sent to a non-member of the team site? - It seems as though -Approvals- cant be used as a trigger, it has to start with Sharepoint or Forms?

-Kevin Stratvert I have one quick question here. Can we customize this approval app? for example can I add a date field or any drop-down field? Is there any option available like using flow or power apps can we customize these Team Approval Apps.

Great video as always, Kevin! You continue to help me get smarter and figure out things with Microsoft. This was great on the Teams approvals feature and a good taste of Power Automate! Thanks, sir!

Hey, is there a way to show the requestor's name? As this is an automated Flow, run only user is not possible. Therefore, requestor's name is the name of the flow's owner, which is not useful at all.

Thank you Kelvin for the brilliant information always.. Please i would like to know if there is an app that one can use for action points and minutes of meetings on Teams...Thank you.

What if the approver has to digitally sign the document? That change to the document seems to initiate the approval flow all over again. How do you allow for the signature?
