that's nothing how my VLC player looks. I can open stream/convert and add a video file but there is no way to add an audio track (no show more options)
I have Version 3.0.16 Vetinari (Intel 64bit) on mac Mojave so sadly this is useless information

This helped me a lot! Thank you! Also, if Windows media player doesn't play the sound if you open the converted file, try fiddling with the checkboxes on the Audiotrack codec, mp3 with a high rate worked for me!

Sir I saw your video to add audio in VLC. The audio has been edited but that audio is of Hindi but there the name of the audio track is coming in English. Please let me know how to change audio track names.

Worked for me, and if you select 'keep original video' on the Video Codec and 'keep original audio' on the Audio Codec, it replaces the audio without you having to select alternative soundtrack!

i have done this a dpzen times and all i get is sound no video, i followed you all the way took my time and every time, just does not work
