Hey DT, question
I've been getting into heavily customizing my desktop (I guess you could say ricing), and I like the look of your terminal text. What I mean is you don't have the typical -dt-arch-, you have those neat little arrows showing you what directory you're in. What are those? I'd like to get those on my set up!

Thank you DT, made my life so much easier. I hadn't thought about the option to turn off the main power in my house, up until now I have just bought a new computer whenever I needed to do something outside vim.

Don't want to sound nerdy, but I don't think the guy in the end of video actually exited VIM. I think if someone plugged new monitor and keyboard to his PC - it will still be showing VIM running

I usually kill the terminal emulator I am in when I accidentally start vim, open up a new terminal emu, start up htop kill and/or segfault vim and I'm good. Oh, thats what he explains. hah

When Vim does not obey my orders I show him the invention of Mikhail Kalashnikov...and immediately he surrenders! Very, very rarely I have to pull the trigger...

You know the joke : how to create an infinite random character generator ? Fire up vim on your graphic designer's computer and let him figure out how to quit.
