Standout has a lot of potential to make presentations more dynamic and -real life- like. Will probably use it in one of my next presentations.
PowerPoint live with annotations seems great as well. Have to test it. Might interfere with my workflow without giving me enough benefits, though.
My usual setup currently is to have a presentation screen (shared) and sort of a management screen where I search/select slides and -preload- other apps, that I want to share. When I present the prepared window, I simply drag it into my presentation screen. Requires 2 monitors, of course.

Are the participants also seeing a mirrored image of you when you use these modes? Like if you are in front of the content, and if you are pointing, are they actually seing that correct? Traditionally you would see your self pointing a different direction than what the participants see

Hi Kevin, Thank for your works for all tutorial videos. It is really helpful in my daily routine and carrier. But one thing, I don't see the feature that you mention in this video -Standout- in my app. Billion thanks! I am your bit fan and always watching your movies daily.

Hi Kevin! Is there a stamp function which would allow the participants to put a stamp on a slide etc.during the Microsoft Teams meeting? Zoom has this function, but how can I find it in the Teams? Many thanks for your practical and clear videos!

Great work Kevin! Thank you so much for all this content, I will definitely be using the transcribe button! Quick question on that - if someone else is the organiser and presenter of the meeting can I still select the transcribe feature?

The Standout feature is great. However, I tried to use it and it did not function how you described. There was never a secondary window where I could see my video on top of the comment in order to know what the end user sees.

The presenter's video in the Standout mode sometimes is too big for the content and blocks the information on the slides. Wish we could adjust the size of the overlay person (my colleagues call it the -weather man mode-!

Hi Kevin, thanks for another helpful video! Quick question: Does the transcription feature require the meeting attendant to see the privacy disclaimer when we hit start to transcribe like recording meeting videos?
reply

I practised with the annotation tool on the ppt while recording the meeting using Teams meeting recording feature. None of the annotations appeared in the recording afterward. Was I doing something wrong?
