Another winner of a video! Keep 'em coming!
I love what you said about kids learning. About 3 months ago I was listening to -Leo The Tech Guy- on the radio and a 10-yo kid called in asking about Linux. Leo encouraged him to learn all he could about it, and was impressed that this 10-yo was starting out so young, clearly with a bright future ahead of him.
I started using Linux as I turned 50 (3 years ago), but heard about it in the 90s. I wish I had pursued it then. I appreciate that you want to keep your content open to all, especially kids, to that all can learn.
Thank you again.

Thank you for the great content DT, I transitioned from Windows to Linux about 2 years ago. I haven't seen much reason to go back. I tried transitoning from Windows 7 to Windows 10, but I hated the experience, it felt kind of frustrating to use compared to Windows 7/Windows XP and it was very depressing. I have been so much happier using both Manjaro and Linux Mint.

DT I actually have a qn that I dont have an answer to. Many ppl say GNOME is bloated, it takes over a gig of ram on idle. That was the case for GNOME 3, however GNOME 40 is a different story. It takes 390mib of ram on my laptop (With vanilla Arch Linux). On my desktop it takes 500-600mib. So is GNOME really bloated anymore? Or is it js a meme that GNOME is bloated?

Hey DT, love your content.
I know windows sucks but do you think running windows in a VM inside linux is a good idea? Specially when you need things like gaming, full HD streaming (netflix doesn't allow that in linux due to DRM shits).
If yes then would you make a tutorial regarding -using windows by not actually using windows directly-.

Hopefully you've sorted out your home computer needs. If not.... I recently paid $300 for a just off lease refurbished Dell Optiplex, and I'm loving it more than my expensive MacBook Pro. It's my Linux machine that has -just worked- from day 1.

Hey DT, I made my own script that installs my own desktop environment (with my dwm and neovim config and whatnot). I think it can be a good inspiration on what should (and what shouldn't) do on making a desktop installer script.

Hey DT,
are GNU software actually open source. If yes then where I can find the source code? I know that gimp is open source, but not sure of other softwares...
Thanks in advance
PS: English is not my first language

Any idea what your home computer is gonna be? Put one together yourself, or maybe a Linux focused company like System76? Would be interesting to hear if you make any particular Linux considerations when buying hardware -
