3:24 - -Use the same password for the administrator account. Absolutely. That way the sudo-password is the same as DT's password...-
I don't think there is anything called -the sudo-password-. It's just your ordinary user account password, that you have to enter to use the sudo command. (As long as you're a sudoer of course. Otherwise you can't use sudo at all.)

I don't get why this exists though. Apart for the fun of making it. I don't really like the aliases or the weird utilities. I hope it had a positive effect to the creators, like it taught them something.
Also noob friendly means less frustration, not subjectively convenient jijibijies

-3:25 Please don't confuse newbies! I'm sure you already know that root and each user's passwords are independent. sudo uses the user's password to perform commands with the same level as root, as long as the user belongs to the root group. Otherwise, thanks for the nice review!

Really? I suppose it got a mostly positive review for being a Patreon donators distro, despite the heap of bugs (at least the wallpaper is nice). Comparing StormOS to something like Garuda Barebones is like comparing your 5yo kids first painting of daddy, to the mona lisa. :(

I know arch is known for being light on the system and super customizable. Has anyone tried this operating system that has also tried peppermint os. Just want to know which runs smoother and faster on older laptop. Currently use peppermint but this looks super cool

-DistroTube also did you know you can take screenshots with gimp :)
File->Create->Screenshot
most GUI distributions have a separate screenshot tool but i always end up just using gimp's because im going to open the screenshot up in gimp afterwards anyways.

I just emailed the creators of the Distro and asked what that program -axecl8- was for... they responded: - It-s for acceleration of downloads from any file on the browser -. So mystery solved.... we now know what it does- it is a file download accelerator!

Not being a Linux user but sniffing the scene with the view to switching OS, do you think think those minor glitches relate to software updates that the OS was letting you know about?
it looks like a really nice system and I think you really sold it.
