I am curious though, why in the second method, the bar for Females who are 100+ is much smaller than the male's bar - even though there are more than two times as many women in the category?

Great! Thanks, Mynda. You make it look so easy as you whiz around the settings. I don't use charts very often, so it always takes me a while to make them look good. I guess it comes with experience.

You can also resize non-contiguous columns - select columns (command-click on the column letter on Mac) and then drag the size of any column and all selected will adjust to match.
