What is Scroll Lock Key and What it Does? - The Teacher
In this tutorial, you will learn that what the Scroll Key is and how to use it in spreadsheets. However, the Scroll Lock key is not only related to Microsoft Excel but I have never seen or used it in any other application.
First, you will get to know the key difference between scrolling through Arrow Keys and Scroll Bars. Then I will explain that if you are using a Laptop or Tablet which does not have Scroll Lock then how you can turn the Scroll Lock on those devices.
Lastly, we will learn that how you can use Scroll Lock to scroll through your worksheets without changing the Active Cell position.

ijansk: I guess this is what it is called. Since last year my laptop has been scrolling from left to right on its own through a page and I dont know what to do to stop it from acting this crazy. I think it all started when I tried to save a pic and accidentally pressed a bunch of keys (including f-keys) and possibly activated this scroll lock activity. It scrolls really fastly. Lately, when I press the T letter key it also activates the scrolling. I have been looking for solutions but I havent found any. I have updated drivers, I have also used DISM actions to find and fix issues but none of them detect anything wrong with my keyboard. I dont have the Scroll Lock on my keyboard. Really frustrating.
