The current government is trying to destroy democracy and also getting control over independent institutions. They have their own IT cell who spread fake news. As a viewer from India i can say that yeah majority of anti-Govt news are usually blocked or hard to find but is easily accessible if u Google properly. However all major Adult's sites are straight-up blocked. leading to vpn awareness and its benefits among people; )

My school is requiring the use of the Lockdown Browser. I-ve heard bad stuff about this browser.
How bad is it actually and how can I counter it-s invasiveness? Right now I-m considering using an old, unused PC to take it.

One of the best way to stay safe is to just not use internet. Can't be tracked, can't get new data, can't get malicious software.
But the question is how long can you do it?
