Affordable, Private & Unlimited 4G Internet with THIS SERVICE! - Techlore Cheap, private, unlimited, unthrottled mobile internet sounds too good to be true! Well. this just may be an incredible unicorn. The Calyx Institute offers affordable unlimited LTE hotspots from an organization focused on privacy for its users. Other notable projects they develop are CalyxOS, CalyxVPN, hosting Tor nodes, and many other amazing projects. Calyx Site: Nicholas Interview: CalyxOS Review

From the Netherlands here, and I'm lucky to have unlimited 4g (and soon 5g) through my mobile plan, with the only nuicance that after 6GB of use per day I have to request another GB every time. This is probably to prevent me from using it as a mobile hotspot.
It is pretty affordable, and does it's job perfectly; however, a truly unlimited option within the a mifi would be awesome. If I could completely dump my home internet, that would save me loads of money per month. I would take a small hit in speed, but for a much lower all-round price that is a sacrifice I would be more than willing to make. I can imagine this concept will be the future of the internet in a way. Why bother putting miles of cables underground if the wireless option is faster anyways?

Here in the UK, I gave u on wifi altogether after endless reception problems in my block. I ended up getting the open data package from my phone company and have tethered my computers to it. The signal can have problems, but still actually better than the wifi. Plus now, I can take it anywhere.

I love this idea but it isn't refundable if my Sprint service sucks: (
Sprint coverage map says my home is in an -Excellent Signal- area but I still don't know how the down speeds will be because my local tower serves the main business district.

defcon is great for paying cash. but two current hurdles are lack of proper device for the contributor plus level (no longer available due to supply issues) and the pandemic affecting meeting them at their booth to pay upfront.

If it includes the Hotspot device cool, but it's not affordable up front if you have to pay for the device and the service which looks to be in bulk and the cheapest option looks to be $150 for 3 months.

Can you use it for gaming? I live in an area where it's impossible to get any form of home internet and have sprint unlimited plan with 50gb of hotspot but that's never enough

Mifi 8000 is out of stock on their site. Between the 2 remaining models, Franklin T9 and the LINKZONE 2, which one do you guys recommend, if at all. and why?

If you connect to the hotspot via Wifi and Calyx does not have your identity, does this not give you a level of anonymity from cell company tracking?

Could you do a review on Linphone as maybe an alternative or a backup to Signal? I know it does encrypted voice, text, and video chat through SIP.
