AVAST is fine so long as they're taking your money. But just don't have an issue with one of their services...that they charge in a very sneaky way for. I forgot my password to my AVAST PASSWORD manager. I CAN NOT get them to help me with this. For two weeks, or more, I have been told that the issue has been sent to their 'higher ups'', and that I'll hear from them in about 5 days, or less, via email. I have NEVER received an email from them. They are obviously NOT dealing with my problem. I need access to my passwords!
These people are cons! When you initially sign up for their service they make it sound as though you're going to get comprehensive coverage. But you very quickly discover that the truth is, their service is broken down into numerous parts...and you have to pay a separate amount for each.
Don't trust your computer to these people!

In my opinion avast needs to stop using scaring methods to make you buy their stuff for example when I was about to uninstall avast antivirus (due to the license key running out) it made my backround black and paused and scared me by saying if you uninstall avast your computer will be less secure and it doesnt let you close the stuff after you click yes it also secretly is syping on you regardless avast is still excellent it just is nowhere near how amazing it used to be.
Edit: With the spying part I meant the part where they collect your data atleast there is a setting to turn it off but still some people might not know about it.

Avast is a scam. Cancelled my subscription in 2017 they keep billing me every year since. I can't even login to their site to file a request for refund because the email address ( the one they send the invoice to ) doesn't exist in their database. I had to resort to annually reporting it to Visa where they do a charge-back on the payment. -- How is this NOT fraud?

Avast is the worst security program I have ever used. I bought a subscription and installed it on my pc. After installing I wasn't allowed to sign into my own network. I removed and reinstalled 3 times, every time it interfered with my network settings, every time removed the program I was able to sing into my network.

I mostly use the Free version,
And it hella protected me from a fake website and a malwared extention on chrome extention store. I dont know about yall, but for me the Free version is enough, cause mom cannot pay for too many things.

The problem with avast after using it for almost 5 years is that even in premium it informs you of your other unecessary things your computer might be lacking, and 'suggests' to download and buy other of their premium options.
