How To Optimize YOUR Controller for Best Performance in Windows! (PS4, Dualsense, Xbox) NO LAG - Panjno How To Optimize YOUR Controller for Best Performance in Windows! (PS4, Dualsense, Xbox) NO LAG VelporLP: Ok, this video was one of the best guides I have watched about this topic but at the end one thing struck me, that is very misleading and should not have made it into the video because its big BS
Yes, you had 30ms delay in the first test you did with the xbox controller but that was while it was wireless. At the end of the video you show that all of the improvements made it go as low as about 8ms wich seems totally crazy, but you tested that time with the cable connected. Testing it wireless in the beginning and wired after makes it kind of unrealisitic, eh?

As of 04/06/2022, this video's DS4Windows tutorial section is slightly outdated due to the developer's changed UI on github. It's necessary to first install desktop version of the .NET 5.0 Runtime (x64) before downloading the x64.zip folder, placing it's unzipped contents on desktop, and opening DS4Windows from the zip folder's contents. The .NET download instructions are provided by the DS4Windows developer at the link provided in this video's description. Hope this helps someone.

on hidusb do not use the poling rate at 1000 on xbox controller, because it creates problems of very variable input variations (as seen from video time 11.58) which give more problems of instability on the aim, I use poling rate at 500 and I am fine with stable 3ms latency try it for yourself

Thank you so much this is the only video I found that explains each step for optimization controller on PC I was at almost 4 ms connection to controller input lag no wonder I was losing gun fights now after this video I am at .5 to .6 instead of almost 4ms thank you so much again

thanks for the tips! by the way, DS4Windows automatically logs (it's on the last tab) the data if the latency is more than the threshold you set. using the XInput Poll Rate checker is fine but is almost unnecessary unless you want to track every single input in separate instances.

Great video. One thing didn't work for me though; on the Xinput, when I opened the app it gave me error message saying: Player 1 - XBOX 360 controller not Found!. I am using a DS4 controller. I also opened the 1000, 2000 and 4000. Same message. Someone any solutions to this?

3.95ms before optimising. 3.95 after. 10 out of 10 would recommend. All joking aside, you're videos are great, I love the pacing, the explanations are spot on, and mostly they do help. In this instance I was already as good as it would get. Keep the good work man.

For the HIDUSBF setup, I cannot check Filter on Device.' When I do, I get a long error message. Also under my filter tab it says 'No' for the controller. When I set rate to 1000 and unplug then plug back in, Rate is 1000 but the bInterval does not change. PLEASE HELP
