- Should surgeons operate on YOU without wearing a mask? No! So the mask is useful as scientific method.
- You wear underwear. To protect others from fecal germs on public chairs. You can't wear a mask to protect others from other germs?
- You wear seat belts? They KILL some people! But you know they are generally life savers!
- I keep a life vest nearby when I'm out in the ocean. I've never needed it, but I WANT it for some RARE time!
- You wear shoes in restaurants? Or shout Freedom Freedom to that law? Shoes keep my feet germs off your feet, and yours off mine!
- TB, Tuberculosis! 100 years ago laws were passed to stop public SPITTING. TB is spread when the spital dries and becomes dust in the air. FREEDOM! Spit spit so you have freedom! OTHERS deserve freedom from TB!
- You use passwords? They are a pain, cost time and effort! But they are RARELY needed to keep out the badies.
- You DO KNOW measles vaccines have SAVED MILLIONS of children! Since 1800s, worldwide, 100s of MILLIONS have been SAVED by vaccines. And YES some DIED! But we all KNOW this but are happy for the science.
- Pandemics HAPPEN. Why focus on 5 doctors worldwide who are AGAINST the current scientific consensus on Covid? And avoid the MILLIONS of doctors and scientists that make all science back the consensus view! IS EVERYONE LYING AND DECEIVING BUT THE RARE FEW YOU AGREE WITH? THOUSANDS of Doctors lying and rare voice is correct?
- Science! Science MEASURES. Gathers accurate NUMBERS. The NUMBERS do not support your thinking about covid. It is NOT -just the flu. - The entire world's doctors and pandemic focused scientists are NOT WRONG and You and some anti-science people correct!
- Do you avoid electrical shock when working? Yes! Why not avoid germs during a pandemic?
- YES! Some, many are asymptomatic! GREAT! But they still SPREAD IT to those who DIE. Some old grandmother. Some sick person. Someone not as healthy as you. A child with Asthma! You really want to KILL some random child or children with your actions or attitudes or words! All because YOU aren't young enough in thinking to adapt to a new thing. OTHERS, not you. I now have been using K-9 mail for mobile for 3 weeks with no issues. It even has a feature or two that I like that my last mail app didn't have. Rob, have you completed your testing on this app yet? I don't want to suggest to others until you have completed your testing. I felt that this video was one of your best. I like all of the different steps you can take to improve your privacy with email, some are easier to implement than others, so a gradual approach with steps is helpful to me. Thanks!

I'm not super tech/privacy savvy but am learning-
I think if you want to burn an e mail address is to load it down with total non sense.
A good practice I think is to look for a job online; sign up on multiple job search sites portraying a wide variety of professions. It won't be long before the inbox is totally inundated with suggestions.
Then just let it go cold and start a new one giving the data miners plenty of useless info to sift through -

Hi Rob. Love all your videos. Should I keep my current Gmail which has my last name and i use it for everything been like that for many years. So my question is do i just create new email for personal/finance or keep this one that has my last name and just create new ones for app logins, online stores, etc. Also do i need to use Gmail for all or use other email services? Thank you.

I agree doing something is better than doing nothing but forgive my ignorance I was under the impression nothing is truly deleted. By moving emails out of G mail are you not just moving a copy? Also how do you know even if you delete an email google doesn't retain it forever?

Thank you, Mr. Braxman! Based on your much appreciated info-video, I have moved to Thunderbird and have alerted all friends& family to use a seperate email acct. Between doing that and my V. P. N. I should be golden----

How would I know if moving/deleting my mails from gmail will mean google actually deletes them instead of just making them invisible to ME while keeping them in their database? Same applies for photos, etc.

When I self host my email, will using different aliases (one for private, one for google and co, also protect me from both mails being connected or do I have to create different addresses?
