3 years later and it is still relevant. dongles break, people still want headphone jacks and these dumb companies are losing millions because people are refusing to buy phones with no headphone jacks. My brother after trying dongles just, forgo s21 ultra for a cheaper lg v60. Massive loses for these idiot companies with 0 common sense. Just add an extra mm or two of space. They claim, it takes too much space, Well, nobody cares if newer phone is 8mm thick or 8. 5mm. Literally, NOBODY. And the idiots who care, they put a case on the phone, making it thick.

I have a headset that uses a USB A connector and it works on every computer i have used it with even when i have a micro usb adaptor. All android phones I have owned and my tablet (running windows) worked just fine through the micro b usb adaptor. The only devices with usb they did not work on was game consoles including the switch and that thing supposedly supports usb audio as that's how the blue tooth adaptors work.
also yes the buttons and microphone also work on all devices that it works with.

Literally just out 3. 5mm back bruh, it is that simple no one f-cked asked to remove it, this is like removing flash light from phones to sell a seperate little torch connected to your port via usb and controlled from phone's U. I draining its battery while having less function than a real torch. .. what is even the point?

Thank you soo much for making this video. I have pocophone f1, my earphone jack is not proper so i switched to Type C adapter. The Adapter requires DAC connection because has 3. 5mm jack for Analog. DAC changes the quality produced by the phone.

Yeah this. Unfortunately the Sony Xperia XZ Premium DOES have a 3. 5mm socket. and it's so underpowered it doesn't drive the headphones audio. So you get the official Sony USB-C dongle. and that doesn't work either. Garbage.

I have a P30 Pro, where can I get a dongle that works? You mentioned the Sony dongle, do you know the type (they seem to be specific to the type of phone? And thank you, thank you, thank you for your solutions: )

Absolutely! It's crazy that they have HiFi DACs for USB C with great amplifier and then you use a USB C DAC! An absolute rubbish trend to chuck headphone jack. Nothing else can replace them in the near future. Period!

They don't care They just want to make money or should I blame the new generation who, despite those with high inteligence into IT, they lack so much common sense they are lucky breathing is involuntarily

I would even be happier if they put a 2. 5mm jack on there. That is the tiny one like all the flip phones had back in the day along with the xbox 360 controller. Obviously 3. 5mm would be most ideal.

I tthought this was going to be a video about how usb-c has inferior audio quality to a 3. 5mm jack. If compatibility is such an issue regarding dongles, just buy usb-c headphones or use bluetooth.
