Wow really a new 28 core Xeon CPU and it is unlocked! Wait AMD Epyc does all of that and more, the clocks are not quite as high but Epyc has more cores and they can be overclocked. Epyc has more PCI Express lanes to support more I/O and it costs much less! Did I forget to mention that they have fewer hardware vulnerabilities? Will the new 28 core Xeon address the hardware
vulnerabilities, or will it rely on Operating system patches that cause slowdowns in performance?
To the overclocking end der8auer who is one of the worlds most accomplished overclockers has a dual Epyc system that with overclocking is close to reaching the highest benchmarks every achieved by a quad processor Xeon system. To be clear that is an AMD dual processor server overclocked to match and eventually beat the highest score ever recorded on a quad processor Intel server that costs 5 times more.
AMD has been doing this with EPYC since 2017, and is about to release the next generation of EPYC, which will have more cores more bandwidth, more I/O on a 7nm process. When this happens Intel will have a really hard time selling customers on paying several times more for substantially less. Hopefully the extra billion Intel is investing into their 14nm process manufacturing will allow them to keep up with what ever is left of the demand for their Xeon CPUs in 2019.

Okay. I see what's happening now. For the longest I couldn't figure out why hyperthreading was gone on the I7. But I can see the train of thought now. The idea is to make all the cpu's in this line up below the I9 absolutely pointless. That way if you are buying Intel you are for sure either buying a 8700k or a 9900k. Then they can keep stock of everything else super low while still maximizing profit margins. Then next year you'll come back with 10nm (maybe, and have the I3's be 4c/8t, the I5's be 6c/12t, and the I7's be 8c/12t. And maybe the I9 be 10c/20t. Then you get to pretend that you are increasing the thread count on all sku's by 100% and technically you wouldn't be wrong. You get to look good, as if you are doing right by the consumer, and you can properly challenge 7nm Ryzen. But then also say you can't have backwards compatibility because of the new node process.
I see the train of thought. It makes sense. It's kinda scummy of you. I can see through it, I guarantee other people can. But I get it.

Wow, did you hear it! He loves us gamers, finally, some love from our betters. Intel is so humble and respectful to their clients and I feel obligated to preorder. even though these intense guys don-t look like gamers and appear more like PowerPoint salesmen, I feel fluffed enough and ready for the money shot, just give me the address where I send my money. It-s so cool, I heard this new CPU comes with a personal refrigerator you can tuck behind the desk. And most important, Intel has publish proof that they are the king of gaming, all hail Intel! And, As the data testing we-ve seen published clearly shows that this new chip is far superior especially when you test it next to a potato and handicap the other processors. Awesome! I feel so privlidge and honored to have watched this video.

I am going to wait for Ryzen 2 or maybe 3 since I do own 6700k and it is still a beast for my daily use. It is overclocked to 4. 7 Ghz on all cores using 1. 35 Volts. Running stable for more than 2 years. AMD didn't pretty much exist when I got the Intel CPU but I am glad AMD is back to spice up the comptetion. More competition means better CPUs, more cores and better prices. I can't wait for the same thing to happen to the GPU market. If you agree with the above, please give a like to my comment.

Just to be clear. Shintel had enough money and enough people to Throw at game developers to develop gaming Software to work precisely with Intel's architecture. Overpriced processors with unfair architectural advantages are going to sit on shelves when all the Underhanded tactics are exposed to the unsuspecting public. Check out AdoredTV's newest video on this issue, or Gamers Nexus or Hardware Unboxed.

hey intel, you strike me as not entirely genuine when saying you provide the right amount of memory through put by equipping this board with 6 memory slots but not naming the numbers you should be looking for.
been waiting for ryzen 3000 ever since they launched the first ryzen, good to see what AMD needs to compare to though

8: 15 So you brought back full b-clock overcockblocking and a whoooole list of OC features. but just now decided to go back to solder tim? And solder tim is now a feature? A feature you didn't see necessary when increasing core count in the 8700K which is well known for being a furnace? Good job curving that question.

-- 1-I am so BORED with these processors. just the price alone turns me away. ITS TO EXPENSIVE FOR A GAMING CPU the graphics card is where the money goes and 600 is to much for that. 450 is my stopping point on the GPU. you can get a decent GPU on EBAY for 450

They try to say it is new but it is not new, its refresh. Zen 2 is new
Earlier intel: Soldered tim is bad, it doesnt age well it cracks
Now: We are proud to annoucne that we have soldered tim and have more overclocking headroom
contradiction?

this whole -Best- slogan is just sad to watch. shows that Ryzen is not just a threat that could take over but IS taking over. i for one already switching to the new Ryzen 3 when its release.
