Exergaming (a la DDR/ITG, Wii, etc) and VR could become eSports. But traditional PC and console gaming? No way dude. Sitting on your ass and clicking buttons is NOT a sport. Exercise is good for you. You should try it sometime.

Maybe, but I think games like DOTA and LOL are not very spectator friendly outside of the core fans (which is huge admittedly. Even Overwatch is too chaotic. Games like Mario Kart and Rocket League could be fun to watch, though.

Oylmpics doesn't pay plus esports has the potential to become more inclusive for the smaller countries that don't play north-american sports, like how winter games don't really provide an even plane field for desert countries.
