Just a note, for some games you can use Nvidia's scaling/sharpening solution by accessing it through the Geforce Experience software instead of the Nvidia control panel. I tried it yesterday with Elden Ring and it didn't quite meet my expectations but it did work.

FWIW, I bought a Dell recently that comes with pre-installed Win 11. I find 11 a much cleaner, leaner interface than 10. For non-power users, (or maybe even power users) I think they will prefer 11 over 10. I know I won't be switching back to a Win 10 system.

The crap that Microsoft is pulling is just going to make people switch to Apple or run Linux. My friend says he's going to switch to Apple because the computers he has won't run Windows 11. When I can't update Windows 10 anymore I'm running Linux.

I could see the watermark to keep people from getting tricked by shady vendors selling them computers that aren't MS approved from a security standpoint. Is there a way to remove the watermark, if not that's probably it.

I don't know what Microsoft is smoking but it ain't cutting it. If they think they're going to make me junk an i9-7900X that is just 4 years old they must believe in fairies at the bottom of the garden.
