The LG V40 is a great phone. It hit's a lot of my checkboxes.
You got:
5 Cameras: Wide, Standard, Telephoto with Wide at the front & Standard
OIS & EIS
P-OLED Display
Snapdragon 845
6GB RAM
Expandable Storage
IP 68
This phone is near perfect. Some improvements that could be added should be
- Monochrome Sensor (6 Cameras)
- 4000mAh Battery+ (or higher capacity)
- Front Facing Flash
- In-Display Fingerprint Sensor
I hope the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will add all these features and become the perfect smartphone.
Otherwise LG V40 or the next LG V50 will be my phone of choice.
PS: Right now I'm still rocking the LG V20.

The OLED on the V30 is not horrible you idiot! The first models and those that the reviewers used which were preproduction had problems. But the retail ones had a very very good oled screen. For me it looks better than the samsung ones. You don't know a thing about technology. To bad that there are people who really like technology and would really appreciate reviewing a new unreleased phone.

What hit's me in almost all V40 reviews on YouTube - nobody is realizing, that LG V40 is the only one smarphone on market right now, which can record 4k 60fps HDR, high bitrate, hi-fi sound, stabilized, manually adjustable and editable videos with ALL 3 back lenses. It has shitty selfie, for sure. Battery could be better. But still, this is the device, which i wanna buy this year.

1. This isn't -News-.
2. It isn't trending with just 3, 000 views and a few dozen comments in a day.
3. Youtube should stop manipulating trending. They should create a new section called -Animals/Human Interest-. Such a section could be used for technology, fake-ads, entertainment news, and (of course) anytime a puppy or baby Koala does something cute. ;)

LG V40 is good, but not perfect, stereoscopic 3D camera is still missing, which can lead us into a true 3D world and making AR/MR works better, LG has ability to make LG V40 more attractive!

Never buy LG V40 ThingQ. It's a rubbish product. It's also a lot of trash. There are ridges at the end of the liquid crystal and bezel, so it's very ugly to attach liquid information film.

If the camera is so good why not do a comparison against the pixel 2 and the pro 20? For the money their looking I'd like to see it equal or better older camera tech. If it can.

I have the G7 & I love it but much improved over the V30 the G7 compete against the S9 and the V40 compete against the note 9

G7 is now HALF price compared to the v40. It's no brainer. The LCD on the G7 is phenomenal and most won't notice because it's RGBW
