Glad to see viewers informed about Nvidia's shenanigans.
No matter how you try to decorate it, their cards are continually showing worse improvements and higher prices. Combined with them muscling out 3rd party manufacturers after already leaving little more than skin on the bone for them in the first place it's not looking good for public perception. Lots of trashy actions from an insanely greedy company.
On a separate note, I really wish actual performance was put next to all of these DLSS metrics. It's not running the game at that resolution. It's just boosting a lower resolution.
Very nice to-have to be sure, but true performance it is not. As far as marketing goes, they're trying to pollute statistics with artificially inflated numbers.

Good video based on data not agenda. I bought the 4070 TI and the 4070 for my professional workflow. Not only do they outperform previous generations, but they do so much more efficiently. Other Reviewers should stop looking at yesterday and look at we are today and going forward. It s not 5 or 6 years ago, move on. If the economy was doing better and people had more disposable income, I don t think folks would have as much of a problem with the price.
Would have been nice to have included an efficiency slide showing generational gains. Maybe on another video?
Anyway, thank you for the facts and not option.
Cheers

1070 was 29% faster than the 980, 2070 was 16% faster than the 1080, 3070 was 26% faster than the 2080, and this fake 4070 is 3-5% SLOWER than the 3080.
1060 was 5% slower than the 980, 2060 was on pair with 1080, 3060 was 10% slower than the 2080, fake 4070 is 3-5% slower than the 3080.
1060 has 33% of full die cores, 2060 has 42% of cores, 3060 has 33% of cores, this fake 4070 has 32% of full die cores.
Not to mention that this thing is only 30% faster than the 3070 while the uplift from Ampere to Ada is more than 70% (3090 to 4090). This is the 400 4060, not the 600 4070.

This 4060 should be handling 4K comfortably 600+! But it can't with it's paltry 192-bit bus. It is only an XX70 card because Nvidia says it is.
Where is the sponsored by Nvidia graphic? I expect better from P.C. World! This Video is Tone Deaf AF!
DLSS3 is not a selling point for people who don't play walking Simulators. No thanks to your non-responsive smooth-looking image Nvidia.

For me the visual difference between 1440p and 4k isn't very noticeable and is a killer on your system. I have a 4k monitor however play games in 1440p. I have a i9 12 gen and rtx 3090 with 32gb 6400 ddr5. 4k gaming still has a few years before it becomes worth it for me as 1440p ultra settings at 144 fps is about my systems limit which cost me around 2 grand.

Funny, still using a 1070 and its just solidly fine. Paid 350 for it in 2017 and it's held better than any other card I've had, the 660 being the next best. I guess I got lucky on the price but I can't justify spending 500+ dollars for 4gb of vram and some frames I won't really notice. If this card had been 450 I might have gotten it.

CS:Go, there is no CPU bottleneck at 4K as you can that CPU is rendering at least 369 frames at 1440p, but GPU bottleneck at 4k allow just for 192 frames, and thanks to its 192 bit memory bus width is slower than 3070 which has 256 bit width

I'm no longer comfortable with less than 16g VRAM and consider any card with 12g VRAM a budget card. Any less than 12g is unacceptable imo. So I wouldn't buy it because I would not spend 600 on a budget card o.o

When it comers to 4k you should also give stats for medium settings. Remember that while you're testing performance you also are testing to see if the game is playable.

I played gta v on my 560ti then got 970 and then 2070. Gta V is capped at 185 fps. 970 was the last good xx70 series card IMHO.
