you'll learn a short but very effective and foolproof hack to extend image by cloning background. Of course you can stretch Images using Content Aware Scale but at times it looks stretched and artificial. Also, Content Aware Scale won't work when you have a lot of places to fill. You don't have to use the clone stamp tool either. This method is uses a very simple logic that most people would fall for. Extending a background in Photoshop can sometimes be challenging when you have less of background to sample from. But, whatever you have counts and even if you have a little sample available, that's enough for this method. You can scale the background without even disturbing the subject, thus making it full size and fitting to the edges. This method to clone background can also be modified to make it look more authentic

Another thing that helps with making light text more visible is using a drop shadow and making it really soft, so its not noticeable, it works using the same principle you used in the video, and when extending a background alot more you can merge layers as you along and flip horizontal, to save time, instead of constantly copying every previous layer. Great video though
