this was very helpful, i was wondering if there were any advanced features you might know of. for example, I tried it with some text in my data set it had and also, punctuations and I had to remove all of them before it worked. Is there a way to insert text and have it automatically resize to if a text box? I have been manually doing this part due to the variability in the length of my data. some are 1 sentence, others are up to 4. I was reading the adobe documentation and saw something about to represent a new line, but that did not seem to work. when I added it to my data to be inserted. it was added as standard text. regardless this has saved me hours worth of time and manually adjusting some font sizes is a small task compared to before!

Thanks! This video has brought me over 10, 000$ worth of business from incompetent people who told me it was ez and they could do it from watching a yt video and tried to generate their own NFTs. They needed me to fix it within 48 hours of release. I would have only made about half that if this video didn't give them a false sense that coding was easy. Can I send you $? And can you make more vids about image generation? This one is one of the best things that ever happened to my business.

Is it possible to have the same variables across multiple artboards in the same psd? What in the layer links it to the variable - the name of the layer? So if I have a layer First Name on multiple artboards linked to the dataset will it update in all of them? I have been using Indesign datamerge to create variations of a layout and am wondering if photoshop might work for this (to output digital banners so print friendliness is not a priority.

I mean, if the Employee of the Year badge is used 3 times out of 100 employees, then it would report who has it (e. g. employee #7, #54 and #93) and that the badge was used 3% of time. Am desperately looking for a solution '

I did have a problem though because my images were tiff and it wouldn't use it to replace the picture. I kept having an error message about a file that was not found. I changed them to flat jpg and it worked: )

Hi! I have a question. I'm having a problem on exporting the data sets and variables if the designs are in a smart object. I've noticed all tutorials with variables don't have any smart objects in them. I've been looking around a lot but no such luck. This video was very useful btw!

Unmesh explains this process very well and this could potentially save me hours. I just have 1 issue, at the end. I need the files in PNG format and it's not an option on the Image Processor: ( Anyone know the best way to convert PSD to PNG?

So can i use this to create multiple images from a single mockup? Meaning using a single mockup for multiple designs? But mockups usually have a smart object, so can we navigate through that?

For some reason it wont export all data sets even though its set to export all data sets, it just exports the first image 15 times (I have 15 images on my list) why?
