How to Lighten Eyes in Photoshop

we are going to learn a very small and simple but exceptionally effective technique that will make a massive difference and make eyes pop in Photoshop. If your image has flat eyes, adding a kicker light will solve it by generating highlights and reflections that will enhance the depth and give the eyes a sense of shape. Instead of simply brightening up the eyes all over, brightening up in certain ways using the fundamentals of light and shadow can go a long way in making the eyes sparkle with beauty

Hi thats an interesting tutorial. thank you: . But I wonder:
How can I recognise where the light is coming from? When the light is coming from the right for example, is the reflection in the eye also at the right side or at the left side?
And do you know how the shape of the reflection looks? what does it depend on?

When you copy the eye light what did you press to copy it? I got that you said to use the move tool hold down alt but I didnt get where you actually copy it. And when I am applying the Gaussian Blur the whole image is becoming lighter. Please help. Thank you!

Can you please break down the steps at 3: 08 for making the kicker light smaller using anchor points? i can't seem to even create an anchor point. Thank you!

I did it once and it worked perfectly but the second time I tried it, when applying the gaussian blur, the edges didn't become round, why would it be?
