Anyone found a way to retrieve lost macros The last time I exported my macros was 8 months ago. One day, Photoshop showed a crash message, and the macros were gone. Only the macros! I looked everywhere for a way to get them back, and from what I got, it's basically not possible if you don't have them saved/exported. I even thought about file recovery softwares, but apparently the Ps startup temp file that had the unsaved macros gets replaced when this crash happens and not deleted, which complicates things even more.
Any help is appreciated!

I agree with you regarding the loading of unnecessary fonts. When I was still a newbie to Photo Shop, I started realizing that it was working slower and slower. I researched the problem and tried all the hints I got but nothing helped. I then realized that the problem started just after I installed large packages (hundreds thousands) of fonts. I uninstalled all the fonts and just left the default fonts and Photo Shop was running at full speed again.

My Photoshop also lagged very much since the new updates. I found out that these settings on the move tool (v) make it laggy:
Show transform controls
Show layer bounds on hover
Expand layer group on click
Show hover bounds from Layers
I disabled the bottom three and just left the show transform controls ticked on. Now its alot faster!
Hope this helps if anyone still has lagging problems!

Hi! Can you help me with one thing I installed Photoshop and every other Adobe software on my biggest storage, and in the setting I modified the scratch disk to the same storage, but it still keeps doing it on my 250gb Windows partition and I don't know why. That's my only problem, basically because I have 32gb ram.

Great tips. Now if I could just get PS to launch on my Mac Pro faster! Gets stuck on Hallide Bottlenecks every launch for the past 3 years. Takes about 45 seconds to launch on my $12,000 Mac Pro, but only about 5 seconds on my little M3 MacBook Pro

I don't know how many of you are facing this but after new update the opening of the file is too slow. Like photoshop open the same way but when I press ctrl o it take more than 1 min to open file explorer

I'm having issues with Photoshop crashing multiple times at random daily the last two weeks. Getting quite aggravating. Having to save after every other action just in case.

Working with the smart objects has become a huge problem for me, opening and saving them actually takes more time than leaving it as it is when you don't need to.
