This video will guide you through the complete process of stylizing an image and turn a boring photo into an interesting one in Photoshop using all kinds of adjustment layers. Also, we'll learn 2 ways to save these modifications or changes as a preset or a filter as in Instagram so that you can add a punch or apply an exotic effect to your dull images. Nice tutorial. If you go to the folder where adobe store their default Look Up Tables which are in the drop down menu, you can save your own custom Look Up Tables as an ICC profile in the same folder and they will be available in the drop down menu without the need to keep loading them.

Hi. thank you for this wonderful tutorial. you are one of the best, if not the best, teacher. I have a question on batch processing in Photoshop CC. I know batch processing is possible using Action. Is it possible to batch process with Color Look up.
thanks

Thanks Unmesh. Nice to see you free flowing with ideas. Try holding ALT while you load the LUT and it should recreate the adjustment layers so you can then tweak the settings for another image.

Really excellent tutorial! Great work. My only comment would be your intro is a bit loud compared to your voiced audio level. The sound is great by the way. Thanks.

very well explained. we have to take in consideration whenever a picture is printed or in a magazine, newspaper, book or in big poster some finer details are lost.

I followed along, it was fun and the results were fabulous! I also wanted to say how pleasant it is to watch a teacher who is smiling and happy: D Thank you!

After creating the effect and applying to a new image, Can levels within the effect be adjusted in the new layer, individually or by using the opacity slider?
reply

I would prefer the action to the LUT, as with the action you can then change the settings to adapt them to a particular image

Hi umesh,
Can we use offset for achieving fade effects in photos. Is this is an ideal way for achieving fade effects?

You rock so much it's not even funny: D I just learned how to make a LUT from Photoshop, you have my eternal gratitude!

Great vid. I love your teaching approach. Silly question. How would you know what the photo needs? Is that not subjective?

Gooosh! I don't know why I didn't look at you first rather than those damn tutorials
