When I choose Field Blur, pop up window says Could not complete the Field Blur command because the initial bounding rectangle is empty.
I have to duplicate the photo layer (so that it is not a background, then choose filed blur
What should I do in order to do it in your way?

You are brilliant! I have struggled with this for years and I needed a solution to add film grain to a solid color - to extend a blue sky - and have it match the existing photo. Three or four swipes on the slider bars in blur - and it was exact! Thank You!

awesome as usual. You have a real talent in getting the point across. I wonder if you would mention which version you're using in some of your videos. I'm sure others would like to know as it would make implementation easier. Thanks!

I have a few issues with Method 1 Blur Gallery. 1) It made the file so large it couldn't save it 2) The Preview of it didnt look the same as the final version of it. Any help anyone please?

SO SO SO much better then other tutorials. You are analytic. You don't overlook little details. You teach every single thing. You make other tutorial looks a lot less professional

There is a 4th mode: Camera Raw > Effects > Grain. Less flexible of Blur Gallery but still useful and fast.
