we will learn everything we need to know to create a beautiful painterly effect. We will start by using a simple slider hidden inside of Adobe Camera RAW to create the soft feel in the image. Then, with the use of Curves, Color Lookup, and other Adjustment Layers, we perform creative color grading on our image. We'll also learn how to create realistic sun flares and use dodging and burning to add dimension and make our subject stand out from the background

I enjoy your lessons online. I learn a lot from you, and I really have no words to describe how much you helping me find the way in Photoshop. Your explanations are excellent, very clear and your way of teaching is great. Thanks also to your kind smiles. You are a great man and thank you for who you are.

As with all your videos, it's impossible to not learn about multiple concepts. These are not simple one-step processes, but a combination of many tools and techniques. You're very fast with the steps, so all we have to do is replay piece-by-piece. Each lesson, worked through, improves so many skills.

I'd love for you to do a video of creating the Distressed FX app but do it in photoshop. No matter how much I try to recreate it (and I know photoshop pretty well) it still never ends up looking like the app!

You need to update this tutorial since the new Camera Raw Filter is totally different. Noise Reduction is under Detail Tab and there are only 3 sliders, Sharpening, Noise Reduction and Color Noise Reduction.

Your definitely a PS master, love your tutorials.
Question. if I were to hit record and do all these steps would that create an action?
Or would that not work in this instance.

I loved this tutorial and tried to follow but Adobe changed the set up and tools in the Camera Raw Filter. They say that Noise replaced Luminosity but it's not the same. Boo on them.

I used this immediately for a holiday mini session and my clients loved it. Saved every step, I have so much to learn on both Lightroom and Photoshop and you nailed it. Thank you!

You seem to know your stuff very well, but I wish you would slow down a bit! You explain things way too fast for anyone to learn anything you teach.

I Think In Photoshop You Loves Curves More Than other Adjustments. I mostly see in your videos that in every video you use curves.
