Just one technical question. When I have the gradient editor window open and move the sliders, only the photo in the navigator changes and the main picture doesnt show any changes. With the window open I cant even zoom my picture. What am I doing wrong?

I know this is a rather old video, but anyone have a fix for not being able to add stops to the gradient? I followed along, but for some reason, Photoshop won't let me add stops onto the gradient line like he does at 4 minutes in

I think I would, business wise, be executed if I delivered a picture (rescued via AI) where my client notice its wrong teeth or noose: ) but its damn impressive and in the future. phew, what is real and what is not!

My Gradient Map even after being set to absolue black and absolute white and with Luminosity blending mode, darkens my image.
What am I doing wrong?

wOW! I learned so much from this. With the curves/ levels, i painted in brighter eyes, brighter flowers in her hair and more highlights of her hair! It looks beautiful!

But. How do you do this for a large gallery? Is this more for photographers that sell proofs first and then retouch the selected images. Blows my mind.

A very important but overlooked factor is the source. The original photo is great. If the starting photo is crap, the end result will be crap too.

Good tutorial but that intro. this trend of cutting after ever sentence has got to go. Can't people speak a paragraph without stopping anymore?

I don't know why, but when I use the sliders, I see no change. Only when I click and unclick the gradient layer. How could this happen?
reply

LOL. I've been doing this with the color ramp node in Blender for the last 2 years and had no idea how to do the same in Photoshop.
