The Secret Sequence Keys in Photoshop (Not Shortcuts, Windows Only)

Apply Filters, Functions, or Adjustments FAST without Assigning Keyboard Shortcuts in Photoshop! But how? Using the power of HotKeys, learn how to use a series of 2-3 keys to access and apply features from the menu. Whether it is adding Shadows or Highlights, Creating a Drop Shadow, or even Converting it into a Smart Object. No more trying to find Keyboard Shortcuts that are not taken and meticulously assigning them for everything, sequences are the way to go!

LOL they are not secrets. If people do not know this very basic knowledge, then they shouldn't even be using a PC/Mac. There is a standard among ALL software packages that is generally maintained by developers, which are shortcuts. But ALSO a standard, is the fact that the F from File is always the underlined letter, to make just ONE example. Since using DOS applications on a XT PC with monochrome (2-color) screen back in the day, I have been using these key sequences to do things. I do this in Windows File Explorer, in my internet browser, in Notepad, etc etc etc. People seem to not question why things (anything) are what they are. There is a REASON behind EVERYTHING that is designed. Pay attention and question/notice what something/anything is for, so you can understand it better.

I've used this for a long time, for software that has a specific function that it won't allow you to assign a keyboard shortcut for. I use this in combination with StrokesPlus, a gestural utility that executes keyboard sequences using a right click then a screen gesture. It saves a lot of time, and if you have a CIntiq or similar device, or even just a normal graphics tablet, it removes a lot of messing with a keyboard. It takes some getting used to, but you'll never go back once you get the hang of it. It becomes intuitive and more natural than pressing keyboard shortcuts.

I run into a problem with my German version of PS. I suspect the same thing could also happen in the English version in other Menus, or in other languages.
- Alt + E opens the Layers menu Ebenen
- but then, 'S' is already taken by Schnittmaske; Smartobjekte is immediately below, but cannot be opened in this way.
What to do? reassign the underlined letter in the menu? jump directly into the submenu?

when I take a screenshot and the text of it becomes distorted may be due to the thickness or little text. How can I enhance its quality to make it readable in photoshop because it is readable in the same size on screen but not in the screenshot when I place it in any mockup or in adobe photoshop.
reply

In keyboard instead of alt key, there is also menu key for windows users that right-clicks any selected stuffs, then as he said, alt tricks are applicable there. That's another speedy trick I use. Like if you agree.

Ameesh, I need your help once again. I need to place text at specific angles. I can free rotate, rotate 180, or 90 cw or ccw, but cant find a setting to force a 35 degree angle. Is there such a creature?
