Bypass Generative Fill (wrong) Censoring!

Bypass Generative Fill (wrong) Censoring!

A Super Easy Fix for Photoshop's Generative Fill error: The generated images were removed because they violate user guidelines. I still get errors (and the dot doesn't bypass it) while working with models in swimsuit. Even if I generate expand just the background (so I don't work on model body, that again, is in a swimsuit), PS wouldn't generate. Sometimes, but not always, I can bypass it prompting something like enlarge canvas , or similar direct instructions, then 1 over 5 tries, I finally end up with a generation. But I pay my subscription, so I don't see why Adobe takes my money but still decides what I can or can't do with their product.

What never made sense to me was that Adobe decided that it should be in charge of censoring any images it deems inappropriate. Anyone that knows how to edit an image in Photoshop would already be able to create an uncensored image anyway. And the A.I. in PS as we have seen is far from perfect at figuring out what it should or should not sensor, which makes it even more evident that Adobe should have let the user decide how to use Generative Fill. There are times when a photo editor gets a job to fix body parts and this feature would come in handy, if it did not randomly decide what the photo editor could or could not use it for.

thank you, this really pissed me off when it happened at work. Just trying to fill in small portion of a face. No idea what could possibly have set this off, i was so upset for something so innocent. I read the faq and couldn't understand what at all it could have thought was inappropriate about it. What bothers me is when this goes to spending points eventually, will it waste points? It's bad enough that ai websites give you literally the wrong thing 80% of the time and it costs points.

The trick I have done in trying to do generative fill/expand in some of my inappropriate photos is I create a selection not including the inappropriate parts, usually with the rectangular marquee tool to keep it simple. Then I copy and create a new layer and then duplicate that new layer to a new document, and then use generative fill in that new document to expand or fill it. Once it looks good, i duplicate that section back to my original document and merge it.

Is it tos to use generative fill on ai generated images? for example I create a character in midjourney, cut it out and want to put it in different background settings generated by ps generated fill. Ps won't let me 50% of the cases (characters are fully dressed). I would do it all on midjourney but I'm a beginner and don't understand yet how to combine 2 generated images or even with 2 individuals characters.

THANK YOU!!!!! It was so annoying and frustrating getting those so called guidelines errors from Adobe on pictures that have absolutely no reason to be censored by no 'moral values' whatsoever. I very much appreciate you sharing this very simple solution, who could have thought.... just a dot would take care of Adobe's nonsense with their guidelines .

Adobe AI must have a 'dirty' mind! I have had quite a few generative fills for fruit blocked!
On another note, when it was still in beta, I observed that it blocked results using prompts like bikini but was ok with swimsuit . Now I've had it block swimsuit but when I changed it to Victorian swimsuit , it was ok!

I've had this happen for random things that shouldn't qualify for censoring: expand and dog portrait that is too cropped nope can't do that, make a vertical picture of plants and flowers horizontal nope, so yeah it's a little bit heavyhanded and putting something like a . into the prompt only sometimes works

It also blocks things that they think are violent or promote violence. Maybe I'm trying to make an house on fire for a background or I'm trying to simulate an object exploding and it won't do it. But it will also block smaller minor violent things as well.

If you're still not getting results, another work around is copying the section you need modifying, pasting it in to a new file and doing your Gen Fill there (then obviously dropping it back in to your original file). Works pretty well!

I got the same problem today while I was trying to expand an old photo of a very popular rock band. It seems that Adobe now can verify any copyright on the image while the AI is working for generative fill

So basically this new AI part of software is useless to me, as I do artistic nude portraits.
I reject the notion of it being dirty minded, as there is nothing dirty about the human body...

Corporations have no business being the arbiters of morality. Creators create things that push social boundaries. If Adobe wants to remain relevant, they'd do well to remember that.

I constantly get this error when straightening my children's photos, I have always tried to overcome it until the prompt passes according to the content, I will try this.

THank U!
U save the day :) . That was a very annoying thing in PS generative fills... every time, when I tried change my models, the PS kicked me..

I have downloaded your plug in. After creating an account and I want to log in to the plug-in it's saying invalid email or password and my details are correct.

Hypothetically speaking If I were editing NSFW images, how does one use Generative Fill? Or can you not? Looks like privacy is no longer a thing with Adobe.

You are the best ! please i need your advise if its possible to fix the text errors on midjourney generated images using PS thank you so much

Yo I had censoring problems so many times, sometimes not even knowing why. How was I supposed to know a simple dot was the solution. Thanks!

Thanks so much for this tip! This is huge! I run into this problem all the time trying to adjust stock images that were cropped too tight.
