I wish I knew how streaming worked! In addition to the streaming device itself, what other charges are there?? I now have AT&T U-verse for my computer (a laptop at the moment), AND DISH NETWORK for my TV! And I have NO IDEA as to how all this connects! This is the info I need! Any suggestions ??

I am planning to cut the cable cord soon with Roku. Question: Once I choose my subscriptions and finish setting it up, am I required to connect the Roku to my desktop computer and laptop, like I would with a TV, or can I access the Roku app and/or subscriptions via the Internet? Thanks

How does anyone know how to get usb stick to play music videos automatic or shuffle on my tv have to keep pressing play when song over is there something wrong when I downloaded songs it plays fine in mpeg4 but have to click play for each song it's pain in the bollocks

So can you explain what Plex really does? Can I watch movies without cable? I just bought a smart tv and I'm limited to Netflix, Hulu, etc. Is Plex the same thing? I'm not sure if this is an appropriate question on this site, but I'm desperate. Thanks

what's the best thing to replace your cable box...to be able to watch ppv's...like say a ufc event...I want to eliminate my cable...too expensive...I need something where I can watch a favorite tv show...current episodes..also movies and ppv's...

Months ago my Amazon Fire froze and I see this is quite common, have not found any fix that works. Will I have the same problem with either the Roku stick or the Roku Ultra? I want to get Amazon Fire, Netflix, and Hulu Plus on my TV.

Mi BOX- Android TV is a good alternative to those listed and about 69 at Walmart! It has many coupons that basically saves you enough money to pay for the device. Highly recommended. Not sure why it was not part of this review.

I'm totally shocked that you have Roku Ultra as #1, but it has some terrible reviews by Amazon purchasers. I sincerely wish I could know who to believe... Grrr.
