Protein Myth BUSTED! (Cooked Protein and Shakes) Steven: Jeff I keep getting stomach cramps when I take my shake of whey protein mate. Is this to do with the heating processes and have u any suggestions on whey I could take because I'm not the best eater in the world n rely on my whey protein but no sooner have I drank it until I'm on the toilet+feeling dreadful ie my guts are killing me. What is going on here bro I can't seem to find a whey protein that doesn't do this to me, for example one would be a very popular one with friends called PHD. BTW ur information is brilliant and has helped me in the gym big style. Your the best instructor on the web and I spend a lot of time listening to you man. Keep up the great work Jeff. Ur friend Steven Cranston.

Denaturing the protein via heat or chemical activity merely unravels their -QUATERNARY STRUCTURE. - The amino acid chains with specific -sequences- remain- the sequencing of the amino acids is what matters most in muscle building. In addition, there may be plant sources that have the same amino acids, however, they lack the same -sequence- of the same amino acids as the animal sources. Biochemistry 501.

Hi Jeff. I'm 17 going on my first anabolic cycle (Winstrol) I have 25% body fat and I'm around 6- tall. I recently started gyming and dieting well since the beginning of the year but I'm not seeing enough results. so I've now turned to Winstrol which supposedly lowers body fat % and also keep your muscle. Please can you make a video about winstrol and explain to us if it can work?

I appreciate the info, it is definitely a topic that we are all curious and to shine some truth on it is very helpful. However, it'd still be nice if you were to back your videos with bibliographical references from which the info came from, for those who want to know the source. That being said, thank you.

Doesn't really debunk the myth; of course you'll still have the same amount of protein before and after processing/heating but that doesn't mean that the protein produced after heating is of the same quality. The argument presented states that a denatured protein is of a lower quality, not a lower quantity.

I don't know who this videos is supposed to be for but was just trying to figure out the pros and cons of protein shakes for a casual bodybuilder like myself and this video was a waste of time. I don't need the chemistry mumbo jumbo, just some useful advice and tips in plain English would do.

How should I tell my parents that I want to start working out?
I mean like, I want to have a diet that has stuff that helps with muscle growth and a small amount of fat for the abs.
(Keep in mind that I'm a Mexican and we Mexicans eat tacos and burritos and foods with a lot of fat)

Hey Jeff could you do a video on weak spot training. Like when and how to incorporate extra workouts into the program to hit areas that are lacking. Also I am using your 6-pack promise app and am seeing great results from it, best ab program I have ever used by far! Thanks a lot!

This is not true or should I say half true because when you eat raw protein your body digest it a lot harder so you get less of the protein, therefore cooked protein is much better for you to consume a lot easier for your body to digest the protein therefore you get more benefits.
