In this video, I-m going to show you the best 6 pack abs workout tip that you can start incorporating right away to begin making your ab workouts much more effective. Before even putting the tip into action using different ab exercises, first start by just sitting down and practicing the movement. While seated, contract your abs and notice how tight they feel. Now, make just one change and cross your legs over each other. Pull your knees together to activate the adductor muscles on the insides of your thighs and contract again. Do you notice a much more intense and stronger contraction of your abs? You should and it is because your anatomy gives you this ability that we often overlook. The rectus abdominis muscle attaches to the pelvis from the top down, while the adductor muscles attach to the pelvis from the bottom up. Without stabilization of the pelvis from below, the contraction of the abs and resulting pull on the pelvis is often met with less tension than it would be had the pelvis been stabilized from the other side as well. By simply activating the adductors and squeezing the knees together you would have stabilized the base of support and provided a much harder abs contraction with every rep. This is easy to implement since you really don-t even need a towel, as I show you in the video. You can just simply squeeze your knees together to activate the muscles and keep them like that as you perform every rep of your 6 pack abs workouts. The towel acts as a visual reinforcement for you since if you aren-t squeezing hard enough, it will drop to the floor. This tip can be used on virtually every ab exercise (except for those that require you to separate your legs apart like a scissor for example. Here I show you how to apply this to a hanging leg raise, a 90 degree ab crunch, and a seated abs knee tuck. You may find that you do fewer reps because of incorporating this tip but that is not a problem. When it comes to getting 6 pack abs the quality of the reps will always trump the quantity. I can see that Jeff really know his shit but i have to disagree on this one. There's more than just one method. That's the beauty of being a human, pick a method that's suits you.
There's guys out there who just do 200 press ups and 200 squats a day, others bar work, others gymnastic, etc etc etc. So long has you get the results safely in a fashion that is sustainable, then what does it matter. You can't pigeon hole the entire human race Jeff to your exercise anymore than you can force people to listen to 1 style of music worldwide. Keep up the good work though.

My abs haven't quite tightened up like I've wanted them to, and I think this is exactly right. Thanks for the awesome tip Jeff! Just one question though: If I start doing my ab exercises with a towel to get the full contraction, will that help train me to get the same contraction when not using a towel? I'd just rather not use a towel forever lol

Overal this abs guidel -suza great plan- (Google it) is a great guide and a must have for anybody who wants Six pack abs. Simply speaking, if you-d like to look great (and I am sure, feel great also) have this book. I simply began following the guide and of course, you need to exert some effort.

I acquired 6-pack following this abs guide -suza great plan- (Google it. Men envy my toned abs as I workout at the gym. My trainer said this guide works well for male and female. When you want the result like me, try it yourself.

A Recent paper says that crunches are not good for the abs that much because they hurt our back. And that variation of planks is the best thing to do. can you elaborate cause I don't know what I'm supposed to do now! PLEASE!

this guy is a genius! every single time i watch a video and try it out, i notice about a 50% more difficulty on all the exercises and i find that what i thought was a good way of doing things was actually the weak way lol

Awesome tip. Been working out for years and always struggled to really engage and target the lower abs to get a burn. Well this does it. disengages the hip flexors totally. Best workout tip for abs I ever heard.

I use to take my water bottle between the knees (because I'm lying on my towel during crunches) - same effect: -) Just grab whatever you have.
