re looking for. Three ab exercises are slowed down significantly to place much more time under tension on the abdominals and obliques. The first exercise is the hanging leg raise. Of course, to maximize the work of your six pack you have to be sure to posterior tilt your pelvis and not just lift your legs during the exercise. That said, you must slow your rep tempo down to a point where it takes you about 5 seconds up and 5 seconds down. At 5 reps per exercise that will take you about 50 seconds to complete all reps of this ab exercise. Once you-re done you move immediately onto the next exercise in this fast ab workout without resting. That exercise is the swinging bridge. In the swinging bridge you choose a light dumbbell or plate and perform a bridge suspended between two benches. Really work on the negative during this move to work the obliques and rectus abdominus on overtime. You will of course want to do this on both the right and left sides to maintain optimal symmetry in your 6 pack abs. Finally, you-ll wrap up this 15 rep massacre by performing slow Russian Twists. Drive your knee into your chest as you rotate your torso and contract your abs and obliques at the same time. Hold the contraction for a brief second to really intensify the strength of the exercise. If you have the ability to perform another one or two more rounds of this ab workout, by all means, go for it. Just be sure that you are not compromising the effectiveness of the contraction and the quality of the reps in an effort to get more rounds in. The whole point of this fast ab workout is to help you get six pack abs faster by enhancing the quality of the workout from the first rep to the last. if you got 6 layers of fat on your stomach this won't help you in the short term, you need to lose the fat first, then get into the six pack thing. this works for already skinny guys, fat ones are million years away.
this is what usually happens, you see videos like this, you get motivated, you get a gym membership, 6 months later you don't see any results you give up and you go back to dominos pizza.
results are a decisive factor in this whole gym thing, it is psychological, especially when you have high expectations but you look like a balloon.

Can some one explain me last exercise? Jeff seems really sour during it. I don't think i have great abs, but I can do it very easily. So I think i don't get it right, may be a bad camera angle?
Thats how I understand it:
Sit down, legs straight, put your hands together, lean back like 30 degrees, keep back straight.
Start movement by bending your knee and rotating your torso, connect knee and triceps, hold it for a little, release, move to starting position.
Am I missing something?

Great advice Jeff!
I have been through ax1 ax2 your body weight program, bought a 30 day of nxt after that, & just recently purchased the special tactics ready to get a beat down on that today(day 1)
The only ab work I have really done to be honest is what's built into the program & just recently been adding some ab workouts since you brought back the washboard Wednesdays!
I am in the best looking shape of my life right now!
Started at 208lbs now ripped at 155lbs.

Using this abs guide -suza great plan- (Google it) helped me gain 6 pack abs. If you-re fit then you can get 6-pack abs utilizing some special methods in this guide. You can definitely look great with 6-pack abs, giving you more self-confidence. Aside from this there-s no relation between six-pack abs and your over-all mental and physical well-being.

That's a pretty advanced set of exercises. I feel if your core strength is sub standard you'd be flat out trying to successfully complete even one rep of each.
What would be some baseline ab exercises that could build some strength prior to the ab exercise shown here.

Hi, Jeff! Great video, those exercises really blast the abs. Talking about them, could you make a video on leg raises and the hipertrophy of the psoas, which could lead to a herniated disc in the long run? Also, is there a way to avoid that and still do the exercise?

Hey big up's man. I've been doing Abs work out for sometime. I have develop those upper abs, but the lower abs I'm having issue. My thought is that it's my diet. My stomach is not blotted, it don't have definition. What would you advise. look forward to your advise.

You are doing a great job Jeff! You helped me to change my body from a fat guy to a ripped guy in 5 months only, but can you please make more leg workouts because real athletes need real strong legs and legs are critical for swimming. Thank you Jeff!

When I play football sometimes I feel a pain under my foot and a sting when I stretch that area. Would love to see a vid as to why this is happening and how to fix it. Any help from the comments would be massively appreciated. Thank u.

can someone explain how there will be more time under tension? slow reps means the reps will be harder and you cant do as many, so wouldnt lets say 5 reps in 1 min have the same time under tension as 15 reps in 1 min?
