So I recently started working out in the mornings as I use to workout around 3pm every day. I noticed that early on in the morning I don't receive as good of a pump as I would normally everyday around 3pm. Is this due to my body not having enough nutrients that early in the morning ort some other reason? I wake up every day now around 7am and drink a mass gainer and eat a cliff bar before working ou around 9am. Is this enough time for it to digest and distributed? I just want to know why I'm not receiving a good pump anymore. Thanks

damn, I piss 2-4 times a day, drink on average probably -10oz of water a week. I guess thats why my gains are slow with my calisthenics.
I think I should be dead with my level of fitness/water intake: /
especially since I rarely go 2+ weeks realizing I haven't drank any water.
and I do a lot of cardio
aaand drink quite a bit of soda (which dehydrates)
aaaaaand Ive lived like this for 2+ years.
yea, I dont know how im alive right now

the best method for gaining muscle is to make sure to keep creating progressive overload. every month or less, keep increasing the intensity when you are able to handle it. this is to keep it simple and easy for anyone to understand, progressive overload builds muscle over time. You also want to make sure you are performing each exercise with a good technique and contracting a much as possible. and of course, your nutrition is important.

Why didn-t he mention lack of nutrition? That-s so important for gaining muscle. I-m not saying you need a surplus of calories, cause really don-t but you still need to eat enough protein carbs and fats, the reason some skinny guys can-t gain muscle is because of their low daily calorie count, I-m sorry but you-re not gonna build a good amount of muscle eating in a deficit, yes it-s possible but not optimal

Jeff, going 9-12 times a day to the bathroom is not normal. It actually fills the polyuria diagnosis = frequent urination. Is there scientific background on this? You do need to hydrate, but doing it in excess can cause electrolyte imbalances expecially in the elderly or those with certain medication. It's okay for pee to be yellow. If it's dark yellow, then you need to drink more.

Hey guys. Just know that when you finish that workout of yours, you-re already stronger than before. And to be honest this is what keeps me to work even harder and better the next day. Set your goals and sleep peacefully knowing you-re stronger than the day before. Enjoy your day, everyone.

I-ve been working out hardcore with trainers 4 days a week for the last 2 years. I eat and track 3, 000 calories a day of high quality food, sleep 8 hours a night and drink a ton of water. Zero gains. I-m just as skinny looking as I-ve always been. It-s discouraging and frustrating.

as long as your contracting your muscles, controlling the movement, and creating a good mind to muscle connection your muscles will grow. 3 sets with multiple repetitions with progressive overload every month or so and you're on the right track. and get sleep.
