s total body workout looked like that helped him to pack on ripped, thick muscle then this is one you will want to watch. Here I show you the exact bodyweight total body workout routine that Iron Mike Tyson followed to rise to the top of the ranks of boxing and has now helped him to get back in shape to step back in the ring at the age of 53. There is a big misconception that Mike relied on heavy weights and long workouts to build muscle when he was in his prime. In fact, it wasn-t until he was released from prison that he started to incorporate the weights that he had been lifting when behind bars, into his normal fight prep. All of the muscle that he had built earlier in his prime had come from calisthenic workouts that consisted of extremely high volume and reps that hit every muscle in his body. The exact bodyweight total body workout that has been reported is as follows: 50 or 100 reps of Bench Dips 50 or 100 reps of Pushups 50 or 100 reps of Weighted Shrugs (bar only) 100 or 200 reps of Full Sit-Ups 100 or 200 reps of Bodyweight Squats The choice between the higher and lower rep totals had to do with whether Mike Tyson-s workout was going to be performed 5 or 10 times in a given day. For example, if he opted to do this grueling workout 10 times, then he would only perform the lower rep counts for each of the total body exercises mentioned above. If he was going to perform the entire workout just 5 times in a given day then he would do the higher rep counts each time. Never one to back down from a challenge, Athlean-X-s Jesse decided to attempt to do a full day of this Mike Tyson workout plan. All told, he had to perform 4500 reps in a 24 hour period. Needless to say, this wasn-t easy. By the time Jesse had logged his final rep of the day his abs were burning, legs were on fire, chest was unable to assist him through another pushup and his traps were blown up. Do you think you could survive this Mike Tyson Total Body Bodyweight Workout routine? The bigger question is, do you think it even has any benefits? I-m here to tell you that it absolutely does. There is a big mistake that people make that they think bodyweight workouts are not capable of building bigger muscles. This couldn-t be further from the truth. A well designed bodyweight workout routine can absolutely build big muscles. Look at the bodies of many Olympic gymnasts and you will have all the evidence you need to prove that heavy doses of calisthenic exercises are capable of packing on muscle mass. The trade off when dropping the amount of load used in your workouts however is that you either have to structure the bodyweight workouts in such a way so as to increase the overall impact and intensity or you need to dramatically increase the volume of the workout. Here, while the intensity surely wasn-t low, it was the tremendous spike in rep volume and workout frequency (it was said that he performed this total body workout 6 days a week) that was responsible for the muscle mass that Mike Tyson carried around during his prime. Beyond this, many people will ask about Mike Tyson-s diet. It is known that he has recently dropped a lot of weight in preparation for his upcoming fight with Roy Jones Jr. After going vegan a few years back, he was able to drop almost 100 pounds of excess fat off his body. He has since begun to reincorporate meat into his diet, as he says he does so responsibly, while at the same time limiting his intake of processed carbs. He also increased his cardio a great deal, however I am first to tell you that if you are willing to be extremely strict on your diet then the cardio isn-t as necessary when it comes to fat loss. Of course, as an athlete and a human being the conditioning is vital to a healthy heart but as a fat loss tool by itself it just isn-t as effective as getting your diet in check. If you are looking for a complete nutrition plan and workout that will help you to build muscle across your total body with just bodyweight exercises, be sure to head to athleanx. com via the link below and

I did this type of thing when I trained martial arts students. I put the exercises on slips of paper, put them in a large drinking cup and I called it the cup of pain. It was wonderful for their conditioning. There were numerable exercises in the cup. I ended up teaching martial arts for over 40 years. The athletes embraced it so well that I ended up introducing the cup of extreme pain, wherein the exercises were different or reps on the former ones were increased or time for the completion was reduced.
I tortured them with the understanding that I also had a cup of excruciating at home that I could not introduce them to due their own safety. I told them it smelled of sweat, blood tears, vomit and the hope of survival.
I taught martial arts for over 40 years. I also trained some summer camps and some soccer athletes at times just for fun.
Thank God I got to do something I really loved.
I am retired now and blessed to be so.

Right because the muscles in the heart and lungs I'm talking about muscles and cardiovascular exercises are two different birds entirely the heart and lungs is your heart's your pumps you got to do some running and then the weight training and natural exercise is going to build actual muscle and strength power it's going to be used in the rain but one without the other would be useless obviously you have to have endurance strength power flexibility save some stretching exercises obviously be on a pretty good diet get your sleep

Oh yeah because if you get tired game over right who cares how strong you are I mean if you're you know like Muhammad Ali ropertope right I mean who is stronger than George Foreman nobody and that guy would just eat you know steaks all day long that George Foreman grill and he got into the ring with Muhammad Ali and he got rope a dope because Muhammad Ali was doing a a lot of endurance exercise well Foreman was doing a lot of strength exercising so

Not being that guy. But the routine you-ve got bar the card squats is an internet myth if I-m not mistaken. In his bio -undisputed truth- he says he worked up to a 100 push ups unbroken in prison when he received a letter from another boxer who told him he wouldn-t be anything unless -He could get 100 push ups in a clip- so I don-t think he was doing 100 push ups in a row multiple times throughout the day everyday back in the 80s.

Used to be hard into weights and thought calisthenics were for sissies. Started working 12 hr shifts 7 days a week, no gym available. So I did calisthenics and did it for 3 months. After 3 months, went to check my maxes on barbell. My lower body maintained basically all of its strength, my core got stronger, and my upper body got stronger. Since then, I will NEVER talk shit about calisthenics again.

S--- it might take four or five hours of training a day just to keep up that training regimen we're looking out there so you have to specifically have to work certain now target areas because the guys got to get some sleep got to think about recovery too overtraining is worse than training if your body gets tired it's useless you have to be well rested and tough shape you have to eat good

I did this work out ( with the cards )everyday for years. You need do this by picking up the cards without bending your back. Start slow keep your form. The speed will come. Also start with 3 cards and keep you form. Depending on you age and fitness. Build up a card every week to a card every three weeks. If your 50 and over wieght go slow. ( check with your doctor first)

Doing such high volume strength training would render an ordinary person to nothing, I mean he gotta be freak among genetic freaks to weight 220 pounds of pure muscle doing so high rep training. A mere mortal of his height would weight 170 tops after such volume. And he did many other conditioning work along the way.

This very impressive to see Mike do this. I've never scene a video. But I remember a video when he was in Japan picking up the pigeons on the street and never missed. This he did with his pigeons all the time. Same motion same exercise. I wish I could find that video now. If any knows please post.

I don-t know if mike Tyson or cus himself gave out the official workout schedule anywhere. Most of these online stuff are just here say from magazines in the 90s and naturally they hype everything. Serge nubret did 2000 sit-ups a day and his abs looked like from another planet.
