I usually do 60 push up with out getting off the ground. So I usually start by doing 30 with out stoping, then with out getting up I take a 1 or 2 second brake and start doing 10 and the again a 1 or 2 second brake and start doing 10 and then the same presses for the last 10. After that I wait a bit and then start to do a different work out and then I-ll go back to the push up and I-ll do 40 just so I can complete the 100 push up. But I have to say I don-t do them e very day so how I do my work out is by doing one day upper body work out and then the next day I-ll do my leg work out and then the next day I-ll do upper body work out again and then the next day I-ll just take it as a brake and when I go back on doing my work out I-ll start of with leg work out, then upper body work out, and then leg work out and then I-ll take one day of brake again so I kinda took it like a pattern.

This video still doesn-t answer my question, what-s wrong with doing 100 push-ups a day? It helps to build upper body strength right? It helps to build muscle mass right? It helps to keep your body healthy and in shape right? Listen guys, don-t over work your body it doesn-t make you stronger any faster. If you-re a beginner and you want to start exercising, it-s ok to do 100 push-ups a day but do them in sets, 10 sets of 10 is a great start and once that starts to get easier then move forward to 5 sets of 20. In the end I-m not saying Jeff is wrong but, doing 100 push-ups a day (in sets) is a great start if you-re a beginner.

Definitely good advice. I usually do a couple hundred a day, usually at least 200 but sometimes 300 or 400. But I break em up and do anywhere from 25-50 after each mile I run. Then some pushups with the trx after my run along with other bodyweight and weight exercises. I always try to keep balanced though. But sometimes I do go until failure, which is usually the fifty. So I'll stick to doing about 25-30 of more difficult push-ups and also implement those superman's more often. I do them, just probably not enough.

Hi
Now most of the exercises which you are stating is banned - or worst or not effective, I must state that you are confusing people through your videos and creating a problem for Gymmers to choose what they should or shouldn't do.
The entire series of your videos are too perplexing and scientifically not justified.
I will get back to you more on these issues. But till then You are utterly confusing people and yourself and passing very controversial messages.

100 push ups a day? Why not? that's what i do to start my day. i'm confused by the content of this video, i learn from experience. i think 100 push ups are harmless. it's not about building muscle or anything silly like that. it's about training myself and routine. if you get used to it, 100 push ups every day just feels like child's play. i've felt the benefits, do it. 100 push ups 4-5 days a week

I'm 32 and I'm just getting into this. I'm just starting to see results but sometimes I feel confused with all the info out there saying do this and not that. I often come across conflicting information. I joined a gym and hired a personal trainer. As an amateur I am asking everyone here for some beginners advice which I will discuss with my trainer. Any tips? Thank you!

Cool. I understand excess reps isn-t a viable solution although it does have its place in endurance it doesn-t mean to overdo it. I do body exercises in the morning and before going to bed. The pushup is in those exercises and adding this with that exercise will help me in my gains. Thank you again Jeff

I started doing a. m pushups years ago while in prison and still hit a quick hundo before I eat my oatmeal, also 100 squats. Takes about 10 mins. Then around 10 or so I hit the gym. I'm not trying to be a body builder just healthy. I'm sure your advice is good but I love my pushups lol
