Rating People I've Worked With (ATHLETES, ACTORS, AND A HOLES)

Rating: 4.5; Vote: 2
I ve had the pleasure of working with and training a lot of people over the years, but there are a few standouts of athletes, actors, and a-holes that I ve worked with. In this video, I am going to rate a few of the interactions I ve had with a small sample of those people. I think that this video will help shed some light on who these people are as peers, clients, and friends however polarizing some of them may be. You might even find that your opinions on some of these guys might change based on what I have to say about them. You might also find yourself looking some of these guys up for their accomplishments and even follow some of their current endeavors.

I went to Arizona State, ASU baseball has a long and good history with a lot of players who have gone pro. You can tell Barry Bonds is exactly who you say he is because Bonds is without question, in terms of sports, the most highly decorated Sun Devil ever and you would barely know he played at the school. ASU doesn't hide he went there but doesn't go out of it's way to promote him and never did even prior the steroid era. When he was at ASU, he was such a jerk the players took a vote to have him thrown off of the team because the manager at the time Jim Brock said he would honor their vote. Well, Bobby Bonds got involved, politics came into play, and the vote didn't matter. It undermined Brock's power with that group but just goes to show how much he was disliked, even in college.

Tate: Indicted for Human Trafficking, Rape
Jeff: Well he didn't treat me badly, is good at beating people up, and likes fitness so he's the best guy ever
It's highly irresponsible to do this video, and brush off the serious legal embroilment involved. Birds of a feather flock together, and I know there is a lot of toxic masculinity in any male dominated environment. I'm guessing that's why you felt comfortable with this video segment on Tate; his views are not actually controversial in your circles. Anyone who is actually disgusted with the allegations would know to not bring him up, even if their experience with the person was a positive one. I don't know what to say, I feel like I lost a lot of respect for someone.

Sylvester Stallone is one I do like amongst a few others you named. But as a weight lifting truck driver, the character of Lincoln Hawk fits me really good. Sorry not into arm wrestling, Bull Hurley. But a muscular truck driver is what I am achieving. Be able to work out in a very confined space or outside my truck. Sitting with confirmed 15 in bicep and maybe even 16 by now, along with my shoulders starting to show up really has done alot for my self image at 49 years old. Wish I starting earlier but never too late to start.

So the photo of A-Rod and Barry prompts this question, but keep it generic - when you re working with an athlete who later fails testing for performance enhancers - I don t even know if the timeline you worked with either even lines up - as a trainer, are there obvious signs to you? We re they able to hide it? Just curious the perspective from a professional and someone with a better understanding than John Q. Public.

David Ortiz is on the Mt Rushmore of Boston athletes along with Ted Williams, Bill Russell, Bobby Orr, Larry Bird, Tom Brady, The two that were exceptional human beings and down to earth Bobby Orr and David Ortiz both contributed crazy amounts of time with kids in tough situations and spent crazy time at Childrens hospital. in Boston. Im not surprised Ortiz is on your good guy list.

Not too much on the A Holes, but then again who needs to give any of them 20 seconds of oxygen. I did enjoy hearing about men who carry themselves with dignity, grace, and thoughtfulness. We need to hear more about them and their like. I m glad you had the chance to meet them. Now on to a bit of a critique - too many favourite people on the planet - youz got to narrow da field. ;)

You a good dude man and I'm not sure how much you have inspired people( even here in Cape Town South Africa ) in the same way many of the people you spoke about in this video have inspired you. Thank you for the amazing vids and advice. Time will show how much you have contributed to me and where I'm heading. Stay lekker ( awesome) Jeff.

Celebrities and athletes are almost like normal people, am I right? You got cool guys, sweet guys, inspirational guys, asswipes, and so on. Well, what do you know? Definitely agree with you on The Rock, Ryan Renolds and Sly Stallone. Never met them, but you can just tell they're great, down to earth, people who have their heart in the right place.

People that hate Tate have this childish view of the person they dont like, they expect said person to behave like a villain in a movie and when said person behave like a normal polite person, their made up projection in their head shatter. And since they cant accept the reality they hate said person even more. The dislike ratio prove that.

Man what's with all the hate for Tate? Don't be pissed at Jeff because of the interaction he had with him. Tate has his issues. So does Trump. Doesn't make them any less popular with certain crowds. So how about we appreciate the fact that he actually mentioned people like Tate and A. B. rather than choosing not to.

I meet bonds wen he played for Pittsburgh pirates kinda before he blowed up and he was NOT a nice person even then but 100 percent great player Ortiz I meet with my 11 year old son and he was a total gentleman and took a min and talked to my son and that meant alot to my little boy great player and gentleman imo

I think some of these need to have counterpoints provided. Some of these folks have been really terrible in other instances. People are super complex, it turns out.
Except the Tate brothers. Those two are scum of humanity, just the worst that humanity has to offer, and everyone needs to know it.

Hey Jeff, followed you for years and always recommended you to anybody who is interested. Could you do a video on bodybuilding and high cholesterol. Always looking on your takes on how to improve and with possibly half of Americans having high cholesterol we need your take on it.

I enjoy the positivity and not wanting to throw anyone under the bus. But the attempt to frame Tate in isolation to workout alone is instead going to look like an endorsement and I fear you are going to end up with a large number of customers that you don't actually want.
reply

Thanks for telling it like it is about your experience with Andrew Tate, Jeff. Almost everyone trustworthy I've heard talking about meeting him said similar things, that he was just very friendly and/or professional with them, no drama or attitude whatsoever. Respect.

If you please, can you make a video about training for the diabetes people, iam 43 years old I was a bodybuiler iam back to training but because of my sickness my muscles aren't responding like it use to, It will be very helpful to help me, thank you
reply

Andrew Tate traffics women, and has a grift going for lost young men! Oh yeah but other than that seems ok! It's pretty disappointing Jeff played political here and won't call out terrible people for being complete POS's. Ruined the whole video.
reply

That s funny I ve watched a lot of these people that you ve trained, and truth be told I d be more excited to meet you than any of them because you have actually helped me with so many things, great video and thanks again
