Great video on the topic Brian! I started much later than most, as I was 25 when I first started trying all the evil goodies. Like you, found I didn't like alcohol as much as weed. I never get munchies, unless I smoke the weed that gives it, but even then, eating WFPB, it'll only briefly happen right before bed(when I forget to check if it does make you hungry hehe. I rarely smoke it and workout as I generally wait 2 hours afterwards. I smoke out a bong and might only smoke 0. 1grams each time I hit it. I've found that I am consistently using 1 ounce a month and have been for years. It's helped with sleep and depending on the strain you get, can help with making you more motivated or relaxed. So, it's always best to have 2 types on hand if you still want to be doing stuff, but have that little extra something to keep ya going, rather than loafing on the couch =)

love this video and i've been saying similar things for years to dispel the weed = lazy 420 kidz myth. only a few things i'd add:
most important (and i smoked for 15+ years before finding it out): sativa vs indica.
sativa = upper, indica = downer. smoking a strain with kush in the name before a workout = yer gonna have a BAD TIME. remember to pizza and french fries, guys.
as for sleep, the THC/REM thing makes perfect sense(imilla) and i find that even indicas work best for sleep on the come down. the initial smoke (especially on anything above 15% THC) gives me the mind race effect and makes relaxing harder. so find a good indica and be a One Hit Wonder. PROTIP: skip the THC and find a reliable CBD strain/isolate/etc. i find a 10%/10% THC/CBD ratio is the porridge goldilocks ate.
same with workouts: pick a good sativa (or sativa dominant hybrid in some cases) and take one decent hit. doing a bong load isn't going to MAX YOUR JUICY RIP. but the upper effects of a moderate amount plus [insert personal motivation here] will be great. sour diesel + black metal = hella gayns brah. earaches are just weakness leaving the ears, brah.
also, once i start lagging i just reup. working out at home has benefits (or find a gym where all the trainers get baked out back. true story)

I really appreciate this video! I wish conversations like this would of been had 20 years ago when I was a teen. My all or nothing mentality turns me into a lazy overeating stoner. I've gone cold turkey for the last 2 months and I'm able to better reach my fitness goals but nothing but love for those who can use daily and still get it done!

I quit weed long ago due to experiencing severe and extreme long term Depersonalization. Its not for everyone. Especially in states where it is legal (like mine) and the cannabis has very high percentages of THC in it.

I know many jacked af guys here in Florida that have always smoked weed. It s never affected them or me. Hell when I had the time to workout I use to smoke a bowl put some jams on and lift like a savage

I did this for a month. Gave me SO much energy during workouts, work, etc. Even my sleep improved. for a week. The cons mentioned, i definitely experienced THAT. You gave a great tutorial on this!

I tore my pec from smoking weed and going too ham. It was to making me go tooooooo ham at the gym. The cardio is the worst on weed tho, it seems way harder, you feel more of it.
