As a Trainor, before setting any diet plan, you absolutely must ask your client if they have a Thyroid issue like or both Hypothyroidism or Hyperthyroidism. I say this because if they have Hypothyroidism, they may a slight extra hard time keeping weight off because Hypothyroidism slows down our metabolism more as we get older. This is a cross I must confess to baring myself, actually I have Hypothyroidism with a bit of hyperthyroidism to boot.

Am I the only one here that gains weight while working out? Im stocky built and never had a six pack ( not for lack of trying) but my problem is I could do cardio high intensity workouts but always gain muscle mass. Yeah I guess thats a good thing for most people but I have to be at a certain weight for my job( tower climber) and it makes things tricky. Let me know if any of you have pointers or if this is normal for you thanks.

I started Keto diet a few weeks ago and I have to say I feel so much better. I dont think my body handles carbs well. its either that or the other crap I was eating. Ive been on keto for almost 3 weeks and already lost 17 pounds. Ive also been working out 5 times/week too. maybe its genetics and Im not meant to be as heavy as I was but whatever Ive been doing its been working.

Its very simple. Figure out how many calories you burn at rest as well as how many calories you can be deficient before you start burning muscle in addition to fat. Then restrict your caloric intake and add exercise such that you stay underneath that threshold. Eat high protein, some veggies for carbs, fruit every so often. No sugar.

Ive lost over 20lbs but i havent been lifting heavy weight (I have a hemorrhoid that keeps coming back every time I do) ive also been doing cardio first! Oof didnt even realize that was the wrong way of doing it. Hopefully these tips will help tho, im not at a super bad weight now but I could lose another 10-20lbs

I have been fasting using like a 3-4/hr eating window. I just never liked eating heavily in the heat of summer. I have noticed in the cold of winter I crave eating. I can't agree more that CONSISITY is key. As adults, it seems difficult to keep consistent with all of today's commitments.

You are great my man! I have a question, Ive been told to not do cardio on same day as lifting weights. Ive been told to wait at least 24h, but your advice is to do it straight afterwards. Good and bad with these two different techniques? Much love from Sweden
