My general health diet is most protein with some vegetables and a single serving of carbohydrates a day typically focusing on none bread carbohydrates. I also only eat two meals a day. The biggest problem with diet culture is that it is focused on temporary fixes so we should be looking at what diet we can readily sustain without complaints.

I eat McDonalds or wendays everyday during the week for lunch, usually a double Big Mac and double quarter a pounder with cheese or 3 spicy chicken Bergers and work concrete forming and Ive weighed 180-190 for the last 14 years, its My miracle diet, I feel great! If anybody lost 22 pounds in two weeks ( unless by surgery) they would end up in hospital or dead. Its a ridiculous clam. There are so many health advice videos on here that contradict each other. Its hard to know which ones to believe.

Very sensible advice. There are two stages: A restricted calorie diet to lose weight quickly, then a regular calorie intake the means you don't put the weight back on. Occasional treats are okay, or oh cake! (lol)
