Low calorie deficit is not good. Our body is smart and it will only adjust its baseline metabolic rate and you will just plateau or you will gain that weight back once you eat the normal amount of calories that your body was acustomed to. If you want to lose body fat, lower your carbs, cut out the sugars and eat less often (do intermittent fasting. I lost 25kg (50lbs) in 2 months just cutting out junk foods, drastically lowering my carbs, eating fat rich foods like avocado, eggs, bacon. Also eating lots of salads and green veggies. And I lost all that weight without excercise. i was literally on my ass all day. Now Im combining that with full body compound workouts in the gym to really speed things up. Its not about calories in vs calories out. thats a big fat lie. its about hormones, primarily insulin. Please watch Sr Jason Fung here on youtube. God less you all.

It's unbelievable to see how many idiots did comment below this video when first of all they do not wanna put any effort to change all of their bad habits.
First of all, you should not even be here watching this type of video.
Keep your bad habits, stay unhealthy, and hopefully, you will pass out earlier than expected giving a favor to this world.
Doesn't exist any magic pill that will make you looking good just by doing nothing.
You have to be really focus on your goal, eating the right food and quantity for your body, working out at least 3 times a week and you will see results in a month if you follow these advice

well I used to lift for football in high school but that was like 7 years ago. does that count as detraining? Regardless I'm sure being like 260 pounds is obese so either way it applies to me I guess. But I just got back in the gym. any good places to start. I have trouble doing the whole rep to fatigue thing

I am 14 years and I take 2000-2500 calories and burn 3500-4000 calories daily
And I have reduced approx 3kg in 1month and also increased a lot of strength (6 times strength) by resistance training but cant see much muscle growth
Please give some tip
It might be due to my age

Iv done this without trying by fasting and eating a good amount of protein, I lost fat and was hitting new PRs damn near every week. I never counted calories, I just didnt eat crap and ate only when I was hungry. Maybe I was just luck that worked for me.
