I do full body workouts 3x per week. It works well for me. I got back in the gym about 5 years ago at age 48. At the beginning I did a classic bro split which worked great. But as I gained consistency and learned what I was doing it seemed I needed something else. As an older lifter I felt the bro split left me too exhausted for that days muscle group. It also felt like I was waiting too long to get back to that specific muscle. So for me the full body just made training style just made sense.
I have a couple questions about the free workouts though:
1. Why no deadlifts?
2. Why do you have use machines in this plan? We need a example plan that uses barbells, dumbbells, and maybe some resistance bands. Working out in a home gym fits perfectly with total body because it saves time.
Thanks for your content. Keep up the great work!

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. More advanced lifters recover much slower, they require more time to recover, and can destroy (cause micro damage) their muscles much easier (better technique, ROM, TUT etc) Read any of the Dorian Yates articles! That's why FBW doesn't work for more experienced guys. I've been lifting since the 90's, so I know a thing or two. Studies are irrelevant, inexperienced guys cannot be a point of reference for anyone, who is lifting for more than 6-8 months.

Would two a day full body sessions of the same volume per day be effective as long as there is at least 4 hours of rest between sessions? Or would that lead to overtraning and inferior gains? 14 sets is worse than 9 sets per workout/session, but how about 2 sessions of 7 sets (4 hours apart) per day vs. one session of 9 sets per day?

There's NO such thing as someone with great wheels and no upper body. However, the opposite is almost always true! MOST PEOPLE do the easy upper body exercises. (Tri's, bi's, etc) The legs require THE MOST effort and focus. So my advice is to build a solid foundation around legs and abs. Everything else will follow suit.

So all of a sudden your muscles dont need rest anymore? Its always been told that muscle growt takes place between 24 and 72 hours after your workout I ve noticed that all the researchers say something different. I train my muscle groups twice a week and rest on Sunday. Works perferct for me

Yeah I've always figured this. People think you'll hurt progress hitting full body every day. I'm always like, Then why does the military trash recruits daily with full body plus cardio? More isn't less. More is just more.

I do upper body for one day and lower body for one day. And whole body for one day, as long as you switch your techniques and level of intensity and have good nutrition and good sleep with consistency, Youll be fine!

Hello Sr. I'm 5'5 and 175 lbs. As you can see, have to much fat, so I'm looking a program like 3 days full body workout. Build muscle and burn fat at the same time. I need a freaking beast full body workout program.

I have always thought that dieting is eating only green vegetables and drinking water. Agoge Diet proved me wrong. I am eating delicious and nutritionally rich food and still reaching my fitness goals.
