Love your content but one thing always bugs me on these types of videos. Linear progression does not last 1-2 years (the beginner stage) for most people. Take overhead press for example. Add 5 pounds to the bar once a week, it would only take 10 weeks to get to 95, and another 8 weeks to get to 135 from an empty bar. If they did. 5 pounds every week, they would be OHPing 305 lbs by the end of the year.
The same is true for all the lifts. While SOME people might be able to do that with squat apparently, I don't think it is common. We should stress that the LP phase really only lasts a little while, not the beginner phase which lasts 1-2 years. I know personally there is no way my linear phase is from bar to 305lbs in any of my workouts besides deadlift.

well lets say if a dude is a natural bodybuilder and does a kick ass leg workout - lets say a leg press/squat superset with rest-pause or drop-set - his legs will take several days to recover, maybe a week. So the key here is the balance between frequency and intensity simply because a very high intensity training demands more time to recover and so the frequency has to be lower. In short listen to your body and dont spare yourself at the gym, if your body don't see a reason to grow it simply wont.

So (unless I've interpreted this incorrectly. You are saying up to 45lbs of muscle (not just bodyweight) in 5 years naturally! I'd question if anyone except the hyper genetic elite can put on more than 30lbs of muscle over a lifetime (ie pure contractile tissue! You missed off the part for advanced lifters where you start with sarms, then oral steroids, then injectable, then start ramping up the dosages and combinations

Hello everyone! I recently noticed my squats have been getting weaker lately. Around a month ago, I could squat 185 lbs easily for 8 reps x 3 sets. Now, I can barely get to 6 reps x 3 sets with an additional 2-3 minute rest period. My bench and deadlift is getting better but not my squat, and I am getting worried. Do I need to invest in SBD Knee Sleeves? Anything advice will help!

What happens if you apply intermediate techniques in your beginner stage? Will they be less likely to work once you become intermediate?
(And similar for doing advanced techniques in the beginner/intermediate stage)?

Are there any problems with incorporating drop sets and myoreps as a beginner? For example, I usually feel like I gave my back a proper workout if I do drop sets on the lat pull down or on the seated row.

3: 28 this made me realise I only do the valsalva manoeuvre on squat/deads/squats. I never tried doing it on a dumbell press or any other smaller lift. Are the benefits still the same?

10-20lbs of muscle throughout the whole intermidite time line? tbh that sound impossible or maybe possible for guys with extremely good genetics like coleman or arnold
