I'm torn between being a know it all and being nice bc there is no reason to downplay the accomplishments of others.
But the Arnold isn't the biggest international comp aside from Worlds. No one outside North America has any idea of what is going on there.
I'd say the continental championships get more viewers (and stiffer competition; actually US nationals have stiffer competition, too.
And obviously, the same goes for the big unaffiliated events that dominate untested powerlifting.
Again, not to downplay your achievements, I'm just a know it all. I talk the same way about my Europe's Strongest Man (u80) appearance. It's a nice accomplishment but we shouldn't blow it out of proportion.

Incredible video Jeff! Wishing you all the best with the launch of your clothing line!
I totally relate to your back injury as I got 2 herniated discs in my lumbar spine from heavy squats over 500 lbs many years back, which was a life changing injury. Between that & a dangerous congenital heart defect I discovered I was born with shortly after that injury, I didn t let either defeat me, but instead I found ways to safely circumvent those issues & keep going with my training in modified ways that still worked for me. My training is now hypertrophy focused, & I m at peace with my strength loss in many areas, as staying healthy, injury free, & alive matters most.

Can honestly say you're the reason I've taken my lifting more seriously than I had before. Not only because I'm also a short guy, but I've been plagued with injury and lost my urge to stay active and fit for awhile, but we always come back.
People always tell you /what/ to do in the gym but never /why/ and how it actually helps you achieve your fitness goals. The fact that you're so passionate to be a student of the game and articulate enough to share your findings in ways that are interesting and easy to understand is unmatched. Been following you for awhile and I couldn't be happier to see you growing because you deserve it.

Had a similar thing happen to me. Did on/off training for years, then got into a car accident with an 18 tonne lorry. Screwed my back up pretty bad. Lost my job, felt down for ages, then I picked up the weights again and now making progress monthly. That was seven years ago and for the last few I've been dedicated to being the strongest I can be. I don't let the ghosts haunt me anymore. You don't just have to get stronger physically, but mentally too. A what if is exactly that. if, however, doing is achieving.

That some crispy production right there.
I started my fitness journey about a year ago, in a time when a lot of things changed and i struggled with personal and mental issues. It cannot be overstated how big of a help your content has been with getting into the sport, and i feel that inadvertently you sort of helped me overcome these struggles in a way.
So cheers Jeff, hope it's only further up from here. :)

Absolutely literally zero essential information. For example, he did not say how paid for the medical insurance or for staying in a hospital. Furthermore, zero information about who supported him financially at his 17, 20 Or whether he worked somewhere else I mean, all this sport stuff: food, equipment, vitamins, and so on can cost a huge amount of money. And no answers. Just one more inspiring but empty video.

Horrible, horrible advertisement for a lackluster line of clothes. Jeff NIppard is recycling the same old story to get a quick buck. The use of dramatic music and cinematography is unearned and straight-up laughable. Anyone who finds this superficial, spiritless video inspirational is taking this more seriously than they should.

Amazing video and story. As someone who s battled and beaten cancer 3 times in the last 4 years, and is starting to get back into weightlifting this is a line I feel like is made for me. Been through the ringer and still want to better my health and body. Loved the story keep grinding

Ok, this is clearly a 15 minute ad - but honestly: I don't even mind.
You've provided us with years of free high-quality educational content and I'm happy to support that!
Great story, dope production! I just put in an order.
All the best for your future, man!

ok this is beyond corny especially since its a 15 min ad, I like your usual content and I get that you wanna make bank but how did you rewatch this before posting and not think like w0w this is so over the top corny we might have to make it less dramatic

that's a very motivational documentary with a sensational story to tell but there's way too much narrative tension created in the editing process, especially in the first part about the switching from basketball to weightlifting.

I'd watch a feature length biopic for sure. Learning more details of the injury, the rehab, the school work, the training, all of it. I think it would be super interesting to see how it all started and where you are now.

Your videos helped me transition from parkour to strength training. Like you, I realized that I have better bodybuilding luck than I did in Parkour, and I was able to make that journey with pride. Thank you.
